Neighborhood park of natural beauty, surprisingly tucked away, as yet another quiet getaway for a quick workout, walk, stroll, picnic and meditation! I first noticed this photogenic green space with Google Maps, en route to La Mirada Creek Park, which I almost mistakenly assumed are parts of the same park, as they look the same, have similar looking pathways and are both sandwiched within residential neighborhoods, a few blocks apart. The same creek is central thru both parks! In fact, I couldāve used the same writeup for both parks, if not for the lack of park designated parking spaces and lack of a restroom at Oak Creek Park. Iāve reviewed many smaller parks with the parking and restroom(s) included, and while this is first and foremost a neighborhood park where the average users are steps away from home, the missing amenities may unintentionally exclude visitors. Regardless, it is a public park, so discretion is advised! Thereās access at several points around the park.
