Worst experience ever! I went there to get my battery and alternator tested. The inexperienced tech first told me that I needed a new battery. Then took 45 min trying to take my battery out. I kept asking him what he was doing and he said he had to take my alternator out to test it. I finally asked him to stop and then he went inside and asked his manager and was informed that he didn’t need to take it out to test it. Then he told me that I needed to replace my alternator but that was because he was testing it without my car turned on. Then said I just needed a new battery. I spent over 2 hours there just to get a new battery and I’m not even sure he tested it correctly. He even had trouble trying to ring me up. That took him about 30 min. He was a very nice kid and was trying his hardest but he lacked training. The worst part was he kept asking his managers for help and they could care less. One supervisor came out to check the battery and didn’t even acknowledge me, and when she told me the results she was super rude. The other manger who was there the whole time did nothing to speed up the process and help this poor tech out. Very bad customer service. I won’t ever use an Auto Zone again. Read moreOMG, and I gave it a another chance and it STILL failed me. Around Feb 2020 I went to Autozone to get a bulb for a rear break light. A kid came out and pulled the bulb out, and attempted to replace it. No big deal, right? He immediately lost the bulb and the fitting into the rear of the vehicle (I'm sure it's still there). He tried to retrieve it but to no avail. He told me he couldn't do anything else, sorry. So, I had to take care of it and went into the store and told them what happened. They had to send somebody to downtown LA to pick up the part and it about 8 hours, to get a light bulb changed. Everybody deserves a second chance right? So I went in today and bought windshield wipers. I forgot how to put them on so I went back into the store to ask for help. The were 2 people working there but only one was out at the cash register, the other one was in the "bathroom". So I waited & waited for the other person to come out to help me. After about 20 minutes I went to the cashier and asked to return the wipers because I was done. This is a 5 min. job. But Brian wouldn't come out of the bathroom. Enough already. Read moreThis place is ran so poorly. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I placed an online order for in store pick up at 8:40 AM for simple items the website said were in stock. Come 12:40 I contacted customer care to cancel order but they called the store and managed to save their sale by getting it ready for pick up magically.
Long story short, they must be thieves at this store because they wanted me to walk out the store with 5 items out of 9 items without any receipt or proof of them "ordering" the other items. They then randomly give me one of the missing items.
My situation ended up getting escalated to a female employee with a Grey shirt and blonde hair; which I assume is a manager. She had horrible customer experience skills and clearly did not want to refund me the items acting as if I'm wrong for wanting what I paid for. If you hate your job and helping customers that keep your retail store open is an issue, Please get a new job because you lack business accumen.
