Scratch Billiards Bar & Grill — Restaurant in La Mirada

Moved to Whittier and was in search of a chill bar. I love playing pool and having some beers with friends.

Been here at least 5 times every time it’s a bad experience pool tables arnt terrible. Staff has attitude and literally make you feel like your not welcome two times out of the five I had to repeatly ask for them to turn the light on at the table I was using and this is after paying for beer and pool is hourly so expect to pay a bit. Tonight was the last time I will go there I took my girlfriend and her brother to play and I payed for the pool and beer and they never gave me my id back and I drove back to pick it up and they lost it. How do you lose that there customer service is very bad. How hard is it to serve beer and to hand pool balls to people. It’s a Sunday the bar is dead maybe 3 tables were active out of the 10-12 tables they have not many people can’t believe how much attitude the girl gives there. I went back and before looking for my id she gave me a dirty look and said there no I’d

Every time I went I was charged $60 plus for the price definitely not worth it

Go elsewhere I’m an easy going person I don’t mind things not being perfect but man if they lose my id can’t turn on lights and charge me good money to have a chill night then not worth it and they deserve a 1 star there’s better bars in the area!!...

Be very careful if you go here and pay their $100 monthly membership. I was told that was unlimited table time for the month. The lady also said they do get busy, but as long as you're playing on the table, they won't throw you off the table and rent it to someone else, but if you were just not using and just hanging ot, they'd let you keep playing...fair deal. That is NOT the case. I came in got to practice a shot time,and was then told I have to give up my table or pay by the hour, even though I have a paid monthly membership.

I was scouting a venue for our regional pro tour and tournaments. We have approximately 100 players and hold regular 32 to 64 player events. Often w many of the player's bringing their family, and friends, along with sponsors and fans in attendance....lots of revenue for the venue. I've been coming here for decades. Dean the owner has done a great job keeping the place super awesome. Great adult size tables kept clean and in great condition. The staff is incredible. The kind of place that always makes you feel welcome. "Where everybody knows your name" and they recall your preference in libations. With so many beers on tap the staff is experienced enough to recommend something for you. I have never been disappointed. And the staff doesn't pester you or interrupt you while you're playing but they are well aware when u need a refill. I love the staff they are happy and loyal to their boss, which in return says a lot about him. This place is La Mirada's secret hangout where all ages are welcome. Munchie food is delicious and served hot. Expect fun to ensue when u bring friends and family. Love love...
