Roach infested! Dirty. The floor wasnt even vacumed. The bed nice. Clean sheets, but the blanket had fist size burn holes, the phone had food in cradle where the reciever goes. Even though the sheets were crisp white and clean, when I picked up the pillow to turn down the sheets A German Roach, was under the pillow, on the microwave door, another live roach, then again in the bathtub. And several dead roach bodies just laying around the place. The door wouldnt lock with the dead bolt, when I went to the front desk and expressed my concerns, the lady first acted like she didnt understand English, then she pointed at a notice hanging on the wall that said. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS. I didnt ask for a refund, I just wanted a clean room that locked! And maybe HBO, since they advertise that they do. Its supposed to be a nonsmoking hotel, another notice on the wall states that as well. But the entire place smelled like a bar. They have construction going on, but dont bother to put out any type of caution or warnings that there would be ladders and power tools blocking the doors. But after all that, at 10 am the next morning, thats when the harrasing started. Check out is at 11am. They started calling, and knocking, and then thankgod I had put a chair under door handle to have some type of protectionl, because as Im dressing, one of them tried to just walk in. No knock, no announcement, nothing. And when I went to the desk to complain, they said Oh, we thought you left? But, 3 minutes prior I had just talked to them on the phone telling them, I would be out at 11 am, so need to continue to tell me over and over. 10:30 am, I go outside real quick, when I go back in, I cannot get in the room. He now has disabled the key card. I asked what his problem is, he said The housekeeper needs to clean. I said, Ok, well at 11, she can. He said, then hes gonna have to pay her for another 30 minutes!! So, to save a few dollars, you harrased me for an hour? Dont stay...
Read moreOnly stayed here because it was the only available accommodations available for the dates I needed. First of all the pictures from the website were VERY deceiving must have been from when it first opened. I inadvertently reserved a smoking room by mistake so called and spoke with the desk clerk and asked if my reservation could be changed to and non-smoking room because the person on the phone seemed to have an accent I repeated my request several times to be sure she understood me and she said she had made the change. We arrived later than expected, of which I called ahead to let them know. Checking in was fine nothing really wrong there the clerk was present but not dressed very professional. I should have taken that as a sign, the room was 217 ,another turn off, using the side door which had the lock missing, another missed sign, mind you it was after 11pm, going up the stairs halfway up we could smell the smoke but still walked half way down the hall, trusting that the place my just be misrepresented by a few unruly kids or something, unfortunately not the case. Had we noticed the sign on the side of the door jam that night we probably would've requested a room change but we didn't. It was late and we were tired. Anyway, without any lights on it seemed ok then the more lights on the worst was revealed stained carpets, pillows flatter than they should be, faded bed skirts, everything looked like we had just stepped back in time like in the 70's. Black mold and around the tub, mold also on the wall in the bathroom, cobwebs, stains on the walls. My husband went out and bought LYSOL and we used it on everything. Did what we could to mask the smell of smoke, dampness and mold. It was terrible! Lesson learned never, ever make last minute...
Read moreTHIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU After 15 hours of driving, I arrive at this hotel and I am ready for some sleep. I ask for a room with two beds and smoke friendly for one full week and I pay them $350 for the week. The lady at the desk was friendly and made some small conversation with me. She told me my room was 118 and told me the room was about half way down the hallway and on my RIGHT. I walk into the room and it is a single bed. I figured she had made a mistake and I was too tired to deal with it so I’d deal with it in the morning and just went to sleep. I got woke up at 2:00AM by a man walking into my room and the lady at the counter. She then realized she had given me the wrong room number verbally AND the wrong key. What a coincidence right? So we got the situation resolved. I’d finish my night in that room and room to a different room which was on the LEFT side of the hallway and alllll the way down. I was given my new keys and I moved into the new room. I lit a cigarette in my room, keep in mind I asked for a smoke friendly room. They came into the room and demanded I pay them an additional $250 or I would be forced to leave. I refused to pay them and they refused to give me a refund. Now I am out $300. She claimed that she told me it was not a smoking room. But at the same time gave me the room number, the wrong key, and the wrong directions to what was actually my room. They literally moved me to a different room and waited for me to smoke a cigarette. Please stay away from here because on top of all that the place was garbage with some really sketchy characters...
