If I could give half a star I would. Our server was Jeanette. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what. Her service was terrible. While getting the drink order, I was ordering for one of my kids, instead of asking me what I would like she just went on to the next person. I told her the lemonade for a child's size and she said "yea I got that" and continued on. After she got everyone's drinker order except mine, she walked away. Once she came back we told her she didn't get what I wanted to drink and her attitude grew worse. While ordering food she seemed as if she wanted to rush us. We did have a group of 10, but still, no need to rush. My aunt had ordered a grilled cheese and didn't want soup that came with it and requested a extra pickle (she knew that ot couldnt be substituted and still wanted it). Jeanette stated with a snarky remark that it was against policy to substitute an extra pickle for soup. My aunt advised that she knew there would be an additional charge and she didn't mind having to pay for it. I know today was Father's day and she had other tables, but that is not helping the situation. Once we all got our food, she only came around to check on everything once. The next time she came it was with the check and to see if anyone wanted the dessert that came with the meals. We split it up between the scarce selection they had between pudding and ice cream. Jeanette came back and wouldn't you know, she forgot my ice cream. We had also asked for boxes at this point. Once she came back with the boxes we let her know that she forgot my ice cream to which she stated I never ordered any. By this point I have bite my toungue several times as well as others that I was with. When we went to leave my aunt did end up speaking with a manager about the poor service. We don't go to this restaurant very often and probably won't be back...
Read moreCan someone please tell the manager to stop asking if everything is OK every 15 minutes? It really is annoying. If we need anything, we will ask the server. The servers are great and always get the order correct. Let them be social with the customers and chat about the weather if they want. They are always nervously looking over their shoulder like you are watching their every move like a mouse with a cat nearby. We are not going to complain if everything isn't great, because the food is just OK and we have been coming here for years. It isn't bad it is just ok, just like Christos, just like Memos, and it is affordable, and it is the same. This table checking has been going on since the current manager took over. Last manager was interesting, but he stayed at the register. It has become a family joke to see how long until you come to the table and how many times you will come to the table. Let the server come ask if we want dessert or something else. Here's something you can do: How about adding a gluten-free or vegan side menu? Plenty of people who need gluten-free options and vegan options other than a salad. Celiac disease is not a choice. That is a better place to put your energy. I-Hop and Sophias and Memos even offer gluten-free pancakes. Unfortunately, Sophias closes early and I-Hop isn't in town but we have been going to Memos a lot. I came in told her I came to pick in an order and she was just looking at me while waiting on the family behind me that was walking through the door. When the family came in after me she greeted them and sat them down. She then came back and another family came in after me . She also sat them down while I was waiting . She then came back and asked what I wanted and I told her again I came to pick up the order. She then went back and came back with my order that was already ready to be picked up and brought another lady and said that was my server. So while the server was trying to give me my bill. The host opened the box with my food started looking through the box to make sure it was correct order. While she was looking through the food I saw her touch my pancakes. (It’s the second time this host has touched the food I have ordered from there). She then tried to push the pancakes back into the little box they came in. The food was already put in small box . I’m just disgusted that she touched my food and the food came in a small and could barely fit. And like I said it’s not the first time this has happened.
