I am absolutely not kidding when I say that this is hands-down the absolute finest fast food you can get within 100 miles in any direction of the Culver's in Laporte, IN. I want to reiterate that; Culver's in LaPorte, IN is managed and operated to the absolute highest level in every aspect of the fast-food restaurant business.
First things first, the management is top-notch. Bill the main manager is a magnificent leader and delegates precise and accurate information in assignments to his. The team believes in bill because they all successfully play their roles every single time I have visited this door in the past three or four years.
The staff has such incredibly high levels of very effective training, they are able to run the restaurant almost as well as they can when Bill is also working. Bill is a Hands-On manager, you will not find him in the back office doing paperwork or be in lazy. No, you will find him on the front line doing everything from drive-thru, to the friar, to holding doors for and greeting greeting guests, to running orders out to drive-thru customers, cleaning and mopping, as well as normal guest relation responsibilities.
The staff is mostly very young, but this does not seem to matter at all because , 1 each and every new team member are given the opportunity to train under Bill and some of his star pupils /employees, of which there are several. In addition to that, you will never find a rookie who is confused and lost and overwhelmed, working a register by themselves and struggling to a point where it is inconveniencing the guests. Of course there are times when they must train new staff. However they definitely manage to do this during the slower times for the restaurant. So you will see in you employees that are learning, but they are never left alone if they are not ready to be put into that position. Once again, it starts from the top down , and the manager Bill is an absolute Rockstar who always leads by example.
The place is kept immaculately clean. There's really not much more that needs to be said on this topic, they on top of the sanitation so well that you will never walk into a dirty restaurant or see anything nasty that is within the control of the staff ( obviously customers can sometimes be foolish and annoying) but even that has never been a problem.
The food is always executed to perfection. With complete confidence I can say 98% of their menu items are always served fresh and cooked to perfection. From Burgers, chicken, do french fries, onion rings, too fish sandwiches in COD dinners... Absolutely everything is grade 'A', and top notch, every single time.
Finally, the Frozen Custard (NOT ice cream) always made with love and care, and is pretty much loaded with enough toppings to make anyone of any age more than happy. They have concrete mixers they can make on the spot oh, and they have pre-made pints you can buy from a freezer they keep in the lobby. The Frozen Custard is my guilty pleasure, and they have almost never ever disappointed me with the execution.
In summary, Culver's of LaPorte Indiana is operated on a level that is so far above the competition around the region Jama what can say with complete confidence that it is the best fast food restaurant within at least 100 miles in any direction! They really know what they're doing and they really have always maintain this level of Excellence.

Read moreI WAS a very loyal customer since this location has been open, live literally down the street, spend 100s dollars a month, 20$+ meals every week if not twice a week and just went Through the drive-through to order a meal and I told the drive-through attendant how they messed up my order and gave me a single instead of a double one time ,and then another time gave me no bacon and I said is there anyway you can just charge me for a single and she said ABSOLUTELY Not in a very negative tone. It was at 3 o’clock in the afternoon 3/23/25. Very rude and cocky. I do not need to scam you over one burger patty and an order of bacon when I spent hundreds of dollars at your restaurant every month. You just lost a very loyal customer because of your cocky bullshit. I’m going to tell everybody I know, and I know a lot of people in this town how rude you were to me. Absolutely not is not the way to answer a question from a customer that has been ripped off. Especially when the prices are so expensive nowadays. You screwed up, and then make me feel like I’m trying to scam you. If anything, I was scammed by Culver’s laporte. Does everybody in this world just have a chip on the shoulder nowadays or is it just everybody in the food industry? Learn how to clean your grill properly, when you first opened I got food poisoning from your burger. I felt like I was going to die for two days, and That is not a lie. If I would’ve known how I was going to be treated On the road,I would’ve sued you a long time ago. This is not the first time I have been accused of trying to scam free food from you. There was also another instance A few years ago in which you guys forgot to give me a mixer, and then looked at me like I was trying to scam you for a free ice cream. I have my own money, I don’t need to scam food, brought my receipt right back in and it’s the only reason I got a mixer. Even if I would’ve brought back in my sandwich tonight I was shorted a burger patty and the night I was shorted bacon, you guys would’ve looked at me like I was trying to lie and scam you anyway so I didn’t I said screw it I’ll just talk to them maybe later and maybe they will actually believe me. Read moreThis is my go to for fast food anymore. I won't go near Wendy's in town anymore. Though it can get a bit pricey with ad ons and extras. It's always fresh. I usually don't have any issues with my order being wrong.
Sometimes we do get caught by the young gentleman in glasses who holds the food hostage and talks and talks for a few minutes.. Happens more often than not 🤣 But he does hustle!
Not sure why but it seems most of the time they have no idea what's on a deluxe. We always ask for deluxe no tomato and they get confused by what a deluxe is... You're better to order everything you want if you don't want it messed up.
I love their crinkle fries, chicken strips, spicy chicken sandwich, fish dinner, double butter burger no bun with bacon, peanut butter chocolate shake, cheese curds and the broccoli is always hot! Love the chili with extra cheese and sour cream and the broccoli soup in the winter. My bf loves the mushroom Swiss burger and crispy chicken sandwich.
