ALDI — Local services in La Porte

Way too busy at this time of year, as it usually is anyway. Cashiers are good, fast and accurate. They're also People friendly. However, it is extremely difficult to move down the aisle and often impossible to get to the items you want to buy. They could make the store so much better with narrower carts, fewer 'seasonal and 'special buy' items. Then they could have more room for the food items, making it easier to get close enough to reach and the things customers want. I used to save money shopping ther. But now I get bogged down in the extra, non grocery extravaganza aisles and purchase items I really didn't intend to buy. And the specialty grocery things are always on different aisles mixed with every other type of specialty thing. Why not put coffee with coffee, all in one section, cookies with cookies in a cookies section, etc.... Everything is scattered around and mixed in here and there with various other types...

I went there to shop today and they have changed the entire store. Nothing is where it used to be. I know why they do it because they want to have people walk around the store to try to find things so they buy more. The problem is every store does this. I thought Aldi was different. There was this older lady that was tired of walking around the store. She stopped me and asked me if I knew where the honey was. I told her that I would go looking for it. I finally found it. It's just sad that they are not really customer based anymore. They are no different than Walmart or Kroger's or any other store out there that cares more about making money than...

I'm so glad we have one so close to us now! They don't carry everything all the time for some things, kroger is right down the way. But for the most part, I love going here and being able to check myself out and I'm in and out! I hate having two items and people won't let you go ahead! Always clean, always have people stocking. Constantly rotating of new things! I love the isle of shame! I can't help but look every time to see what they have! Love my aldis! 💐🤩
