Harbor Freight — Attraction in La Puente

About a year ago I returned three sets of jack stands to this store because they were being recalled for cracking at the welds. I accepted the refund offered to me via a gift card. I used a very small amount of the value of the card during that visit but still had a good amount of money remaining. I returned to the store today and tried to use card to pick up a few tools and was told the card had a zero balance. I was told to call the number on the back of the card for further information. I called the number and was told by an automated voice that indeed the card had a zero balance. In retrospect I should have just taken the refund in cash. Not sure if I have any recourse at this point but hopefully others will learn from my mistake. The tools sold here are far from great quality but the price you pay for them should be a big clue as to what to expect. Most are cast from poor and inferior materials however they will get the job done for a limited time. If you are looking from some tools for light duty around the house or to take to the junkyard...these might be the tools for you. The Icon line of tools is Harbor Freight's attempt to compete with the bigger, well-known names in the tool industry. They look decent and have a lifetime warranty which is a plus. The Icon tools also are priced considerably higher than their other lines of tools. I decided to give them a try and bought one Icon ratchet today. Love harbor freight tools always specials .... Sign up with their email sing up so you can receive coupons via email and save some money love the different types of gloves they carry and their little gadgets but the only thing that does kinda suck is that no matter what the floor Jack's are a no go on the coupons.... But their power tools are good they range from budget prices to high quality prices I like the fact that they started carrying higher quality stuff as well I was shocked when I saw the od11 reader that goes for upto 500 I think I'm not so sure about it but I will try and get it soon and then review the item but by end of the day they do carry lots of tools lots of accessories lots of things but they do not carry hardware which is a downside that's all they need and then it will be a one stop shop and they should increase the size and merch they have for auto accessories should be very interesting to...

Grabbed the products I needed and proceeded to a register and no one was in line and cashier at register was finishing up with customer but I guess she must have been having a bad day. Instead of finishing up with her customer she rather tell me I'm standing in the wrong place. I get it, I really do but no one else was in line behind me so whats the problem. Then she decides to smirk at me with attitude. If you are having a bad day, check that attitude at the door, if you're upset you're working at a retail store on the weekend get a different job because that's just how the retail industry is.
