La Puente Skateboard Park — Attraction in La Puente

This is an excellent skatepark. A nice size with different areas so nobody runs into each other. It has some real interesting and original obstacles and layouts that are still functional. I love the triangle curb over the gap.

A huge plus is a completely separate mini pump track that I'm sure keeps smaller children on scooters entertained so us skateboarders can skate the rest of the park hassle free. There's also a separate mini ramp with half bowl.

And if all of that isn't enough for you then there's also a very simple, basic section with a small curb sized manny pad, flat bar and higher ledge and a flatbank.

This is one of the best skateparks in the wider Los Angeles area.

Security runs this place like there the police treating real skaters like trash the security guard told me I couldn't skate there with my dog when he wasn't bothering anyonee and staying inside the skatepark and I even had a leash to tie him up if you want some sort of control over the public you people are weird and you got it with your security making me feel very unwanted he also got very angry with me when I wouldn't talk with him as he was kicking me out very strange what was even weirder there was a family that walked up with there kids and skateboards with a dog! I really like the La puente skatepark, my only complaint is that sometimes there is a bunch of kids and a lot of them aren’t even on a bike or scooter etc., and they just stand in the way while other skaters including myself, are tryna skate on the obstacles, also on the note of kids with scooters they also don’t understand the flow of the park and are a danger to people actually skating and can cause some people to fall if they are in the way and can cause serious injuries, parents please don’t take children to...
