Customer service has declined soooo much! Both at the CS counter & from the associates level. No one knows the proper procedure for checking another store for a particular item OR how to find it in the on-line site THAT IS SLOW & VERY TIME-CONSUMING!!! EVEN WITH THE ITEM NUMBER!) Why can't the company get a FASTER PROGRAM FOR ON-LINE SHOPPING/INFO? Is no one taking the time to PROPERLY TRAIN THEIR ASSOCIATES (LIKE THEY DID BEFORE THE BUY-OUT/MERGER...)

Read moreCabella's looks nice, and has an aquarium and lots of animal mounts, but parking sucks because of the architect's choice of making a big road run through the middle of the parking lot right up to the front door, pushing parking off to the sides.
Also the prices at Cabella's is typically around 30% higher than Walmart or a dedicated sporting goods store.
I shop at Cabella's only if I am going to buy a Cabella's brand item like supplies to make jerkey or if I have a bunch of rewards points from the card and I want to convince the wife I need to buy...
