** The response to my review is complete lies. We spoke after she replied to my review. She doesn't want to review the camera footage together, and told me I have attorneys. Our waitress was notified as soon as the incident happened and nothing was done about it When I spoke to Amy right before I posted my review she said she was aware of the situation and called the lady crazy and that's never happened in her restaurant before. So no the safety is not their priority, they had a large group and wanted to profit as we only had 3. I understand as a business they have to try and make themselves look a certain way to not lose out on potential customers, but I promise you there are no untruthful things from me posted in this review. I was in no way wanting or ever requested anything free, just an acknowledgment and hoping for them to possibly understand safety measures for their customers in the future. I was just in the restaurant last night and was sat at a table with 7 other individuals and had the worst experience of my life. One person from the other party was overly intoxicated and physically threatened my friend in my party. My friend cancelled her order and stayed for us because she knew it was my first time there and didn't want to ruin it for me. The intoxicated woman's two children kept apologizing and was completely embarrassed by her behavior. The entire time we were there we weren't asked if we needed refills and nobody came to clear the tables so my friend had to keep clearing the dishes and go hand them to the wait staff just standing around. My friend was served almost half less rice than everyone else at the table, The lobster rolls were AMAZING, I ordered a Mia Tai it was very watered down, I asked for my steak medium rare, it was beyond well done but flavorful. The shrimp was overcooked as well. The experience wasn't the best and them not removing an individual that was belligerent, intoxicated, and physically threatening other customers was very upsetting. Even the table next to us with children were uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave. When I called today and spoke with the restaurant manager she did apologize because she was there when it happened and was aware of the situation, but said it wasn't her fault that the lady acted like that and physically threatened my friend, and refused to rectify the situation. I should have just told my friends we should leave. I've been to Kobe's and Genji's steakhouse and have had wonderful food, entertainment and courteous customer service from the wait staff. If you are thinking of going to Osaka because they are priced a little cheaper than others, I would just spend the extra...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Osaka in Omaha, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. I can confidently give this restaurant a well-deserved 5-star rating.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. The grilled chicken I ordered was an absolute delight. It was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and had that delectable charred goodness that makes your taste buds dance with joy. The attention to detail in seasoning and preparation was evident, and I couldn't have asked for a more satisfying dish.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service provided by our server, Yuriel, truly made the experience memorable. From the moment we walked in, Yuriel greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm for ensuring our dining experience was top-notch. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations when it came to choosing from the menu. His friendly and professional demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our meal.
Furthermore, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was delightful. The contemporary yet cozy decor, combined with the soothing background music, created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in the restaurant's design and the cleanliness of the space added to the overall positive experience.
I must also mention that the staff as a whole seemed well-trained and efficient, working seamlessly to ensure that all guests received excellent service. From the moment we stepped through the door until the end of our meal, the entire team at Osaka in Omaha showed a commitment to customer satisfaction that exceeded our expectations.
In summary, I cannot recommend Osaka in Omaha enough. From the mouthwatering and flavorful grilled chicken to the exceptional service provided by Yuriel, this restaurant truly deserves a perfect 5-star rating. Whether you're looking for a delightful dining experience, attentive service, or simply a fantastic meal, Osaka in Omaha is the place to go. You won't be disappointed!

Read moreThis review is for the dining side, we did not do the hibachi. The place is pretty small, which isn’t a problem, but if you have a larger group of 6+ calling ahead would be wise. We went on a Sunday night at around 6:30 or so. The server was friendly and we were seated quickly. The Hibachi side was full, but the dining side only had a handful of people.
The food was hit or miss. Ginger salad was delicious and the clear soup was average. A few people ordered the dinner bento box and we all got different proteins. The chicken was pretty good and the beef was alright. Tempura was crispy and cooked perfectly. The teriyaki sauce that comes on the main protein was quite good and balanced in flavor. The gyoza were small and the flavor was kind of “meh”. I’ve had better. California rolls were average.
Some people ordered other food, fried rice was reports as being delicious. Tonkatsu was also reported as being good. Hibachi chicken and steak was reported as average.
There was a mysterious brown sauce on the plate that didn’t have much flavor and I felt made the gyoza it was poured over worse. There was also some poured with the sushi, so that was odd. Would be better to serve it on the side if anything. There was also another sauce that came in a bowl. It didn’t really taste like anything and didn’t add any flavor to what we dipped in it. I kind of wish it was teriyaki sauce or tonkatsu sauce instead. We got one box with salmon and it was overcooked and dry, resembling the texture of canned fish, which was disappointing. I felt the soy sauce at the table could have been a little more flavorful.
The presentation of all the food was nice. Lights in the main dining area were a little on the dim side. Tables were clean and set up nicely with clean sauce dishes, an extra plate, a napkin, and cutlery. Overall my experience was closer to 3.5 stars. For the prices and overall vibe the place gives off, I was expecting better and some things fell short of that expectation, so I went with 3. If I came back, I’d order some of the more standard “safe” options. I would like to explore the menu a bit more, but the randomness of quality and flavor leaves me skeptical of...
