Lafayette Skatepark — Attraction in Lafayette

This place always have a group of kids and adults that hangs out on the northside parking lot or under the gazibo smoking Marijuana and drinking beer about 15 of them. Each time when I'm there there is always underage drinking, smoking and fights between them group that are always there on daily basis. So if you have smaller kids I don't recommend this place due to that. Yes the police shows up on them but they always hide the beer and don't do anything about the weed smoking...

Kids on scooters and skateboards and bikes. Adults. Toddlers. This skatepark is super busy but a lot of fun. Many bowls and runs, less street skating than Erie is, slightly older crowd than Erie is, also more crowded and less "kind" (YMMV). Right next door to the community center, and the parking lot...

It doesn't usually bother me, but this park is litterally always infested with young children on scooters (even at noon on school days) I have seen at least one ambulance due to a collision between these kids and adult skater. Ride at...
