Thomas Park — Attraction in Lafayette

Embarrassing for a city that could do better! We could not sit on the benches or tables or we would get injured by the sharp chards of rusted metal protruding from every inch. The playground “equipment” would be condemned and we would be fined, if it was on our private property! We have lived in numerous cities the same size as Lafayette and have always been pleased with the Parks. There are no words that are adequate to describe my disappointment with Thomas “Park”. X I dare any city official to bring their toddler or grandchild to this disgusting publicly...

For my granddaughters' needs, it didn't have enough play equipment suitable for children under three years. The grounds are well kept, and the events offered around the park were well maintained and good quality. It's a very nice open area park for people from the immediate neighborhoods and a good, safe place for all ages to play sports or just be active. My visit only consisted of park grounds, not...

Great park, bathrooms are not recommended and watch your surroundings we had a black suv park and watch us for about 20 minutes or more and when I started to tell another mom about my concern they left. The lady in the suv got out and put some spray on her tire... very suspicious... the entire parking lot was empty so parking next to the play...
