El Malecon Seafood — Restaurant in Lafayette

The waitresses took our order and got so confused. We ended up with two extra plates of something and nothing came out at the same time. The youngest child was the last to be served and had to ask 3 or 4 times if his food was ready. He ordered a cheeseburger. There was no cheese. My son who ordered a burrito got 3 enchiladas instead and as we were getting ready to leave they came out with the burrito. The owner came talk to us to learn from the mistakes that had been made; did I mention the baby's juice was sour? It was a long wait but we were in good company so it wasn't bad till all the big kids ate and the baby was left waiting. Totally a horrendous mess never going back. We paid full price for what we ate but we are NEVER...

One star, but in reality needed zero.

I ordered a seafood tower to go and when i got it, it was all messed up and all over the place. The bag also had like 10oz of juice in it. The seafood also had a weird soapy taste to it which obiously i did not like. Ive eaten seafood my whole life and when i tell you something was off with the taste, it was off. Ive eaten from way better mexican seafood places than this. Dont waste your time and money on this. Would i recommend this place to any of you? Absolutely not. I will not be coming here again EVER. I paid 50 for two meals and i could of probably gotten a better deal and meal at chick fila. Smh Here is...

It is a must try. It is in a small shopping center but don’t shy away. If you like ceviche they have what you want. You will not find the same flavors any where in Lafayette. They have shrimp, octopus, fish and oysters. They are not only seafood, they have the best carne asada tacos around.. to go along with burritos and tostadas. They have karaoke in English Friday nights starting at 7:00 and in Spanish on Sunday not sure...
