Daiquiris Supreme — Restaurant in Lafayette

I dont usually have negative reviews but I have to do this one. Last night, we were a party of 7. When we arrived around 11:30pm, a few people were inside and the door was locked, which I'm 95% sure is a fine from the fire marshall. Anyway, after about 5 min of standing in the "light rain", they opened the door. We walk over to the bar, the guy takes 4 of our orders, so I go further down to get one of the other bartenders attention for 2 of us. They are standing there whispering and chatting. I wait. 10 min later, I say excuse me, wave my hand, not once but twice and I am completely IGNORED. I decide at that point I dont want to spend my money at an establishment who treats paying customers this way, so I go sit at a table while the rest of the people in my party drank. "Wedding Party". A song they like comes on, everyone is singing, this skinny blonde bartender decides they are having too much fun or too happy and goes and changes the song less than a minute in. Initially I'm thinking, ok maybe there's a certain vibe they want to set. But there's literally 6 other people in there and they are all playing pool. That's it. At request, the guy bartender goes and puts the song back on (shout out to him). Again, they start singing, and again she walks back over and changes the song again. I'm not a confrontational person and I stayed quiet most of the time but as a business owner myself the disregard for paying customers as well as the lack of customer service makes me compelled to speak up. I used to frequent this place in my college days or on special occasions. Definitely went through the drive through more. It's not the same at all. I won't be going back. We were a group of 30+yr old women who were just trying to celebrate with the Bride. We decided the environment was too negative at that point and went to legends across the street. Thats where we were initially because supreme no longer serves food. Thankful we were able to save a little bit of the night from this ridiculous experience. I come here all the time ! Every week ! I came on a Friday night , and i went through the drive thru. I pressed the red button like i usually do and waited for someone to come to the window . As , Im looking in the window , I see a person look right at me and they proceed to walk off and never come back to the window. I get its a Friday night , but don’t leave your customers at the window un-attended either , they are paying just like the ones inside . So i had to get out my car and go to the walk up window , where i was told they only had 2 bar tenders but i saw more than 2. I finally get my order taken, and I then walk back to get in my car that was in drive through. All of sudden people want to start coming to the window asking did I need help after I had already gotten out . I’m talking to my girlfriend in my car bout not being attentive in the window and the “RED HEAD TRICK” had the audacity to tell me to calm down . Maam first off don’t tell me anything i am the paying customer and she then proceeds to curse me out ! Learn how to be attentive and make sure all customers are served ina timely manner ! If you can’t handle the window on a Friday night or can’t cover it , THEN CLOSE THE DRIVE THROUGH! But cursing out a faithful customer and having no apology given about the waiting was not the right thing to do. Learn customer service ! And this was the only place i would come get a DaQ from ! While the place is located in a convenient location off Johnston St with plenty of parking. The staff there is terribly unattentive of customers even with 5 or 6 girls behind the counter. The music needs more clarity and they play music for everyone to enjoy. They have large crystal clear tv for the sports fan and pool tables for enjoyment as well. I waited about 13min and only 1 of 6 bartender only said she would come and see what we need I didn’t bother waiting. The waitresses see you standing there waiting to be served and still pass you by as if you weren’t there or not good enough for them. I wouldn’t return until the manager or owner send in an undercover boss or undercover guests to send him their honest reviews.
