We visited LensCrafters which is located in the mall. There is plenty of free parking including wheelchair accessible parking and there are several entrances which are wheelchair accessible to the mall depending on where you are wanting to go inside the mall. This mall is huge and it was very nice from what we could see when we entered the mall. We've never been here before but we both had appointments and didn't have time to explore the rest of the mall. We will be back in the near future to explore this grand mall to see what it has to offer shoppers and I'll give you an updated review of what we find. We'll be sure and put on our walking shoes and open our eyes and ears and take photos and shop till we drop.
Update 05/28/2023 We made a quick trip to LensCrafters at the Tippecanoe Mall this afternoon. This was my first pair of prescription glasses in my 68 years and I still am amazed by what I thought was the good vision that I had before. It's the difference between night and day. I went from not real clear and a little fuzzy vision and straining to read vision which I thought was just normal from aging. When I got my prescription progressive lense glasses my world went from dingy and grey to super hyper high definition the still amazes me. On the drive home I couldn't believe how bright and colorful that everything I had seen before but just thought was faded from exposure and age really was bright and clear I could read street signs from a half a block away and see individual leaves on trees and individual sprouts in the farm fields. My new glasses have given me such a wonderful and fantastic experience and the highest level in my quality of life and brought so much happiness and joy into my life. Anyway this being my first pair of glasses they just didn't feel good on me nose so we stopped by to see if there was any adjustment that could be done and my husband needed an adjustment to his new glasses. We walked in and were greeted by a lovely a very pretty associate who said we were such a handsome couple with our flag shirts on and our great looking glasses. So nice and sweet she deserves hugs and great recognition. She remembered helping me pick out frames. The gentleman was also very personable and knowledgeable and eager to help a had me sit in his chair and listened to my concerns. With a big smile he said to could see exactly what I was saying by seeing how they sat on the bridge of my nose. I handed my glasses to him and in 10 seconds right before my eyes he made a slight adjustment to my nose pieces and gave them back to me and when I put them back on my nose didn't feel uncomfortable anymore and they actually felt like I wasn't wearing glasses at all. He did my husband's and the 4 of us joked around and had a great time little visit. We are such very happy and grateful customers and this is our store now and we'll definitely be back for all of our vision needs. Have a good one and stay safe...
Read moreNormally we have enjoyed Mall Jump a special treat, but last Saturday night the booth was run by 2 unsafe, incompetent and unprofessional young women. The employee who put the harnesses on my daughters was distracted and talking across the fence to her fellow employee about some "secret" non-work related subject (the other employee was mouthing words at her and making gestures that required full visual attention to understand). I watched to be sure she was harnessing my kids safely and did ask her to please stop talking while she worked with my kids. She did not look at me or apologize, as she should have- that is a normal courtesy when you make a mistake in customer service. On the contrary, both women became surly and dismissive. Then my kids both had bad jumping experiences. They have both done this many times before without any problems, but I think the employee who ran their rides was so distracted she may have gotten their weights mixed up and did not appropriately set them up. After our jump I observed these 2 employees continue to their work in a half-hearted and incompetent manner. Both were acting distracted and disorganized, it was as if neither of them really knew how to be professional or be in charge. Mall jump must have employees who are dedicated to safety and...
Read moreWent to LensCrafters at the Tippecanoe Mall to pick up our glasses that we ordered. Again very friendly and knowledgeable and caring associates. They adjusted our glasses for a perfect fit. We are very pleased with the quality and value of our new glasses. This is my first pair of prescription glasses and after they were fitted I couldn't believe how clear and colorful everything was. It was like I was given a new set of eyes. I really didn't know how bad my vision was and they opened up a whole new world for me. My glasses are so light and I can tell that I'm not going to have any problems getting used to wearing them. The optometrist said it would take a couple of weeks to get used to the progressive lenses and he advised me how to look with a level head and keeping my eyes centered on the lenses and to move my head up and down and side to side when looking at things instead of moving my eyes because the progressive lenses are designed for different vision strengths when you look through the middle of them as well as the upper and lower and sides of the lenses. I love them. Highly recommend LensCrafters at the Tippecanoe Mall. We didn't have time to explore and shop the mall but we'll be back to check everything the mall has to offer at a later date. ...
