Well Once inside all was good. But they had a weather advisory so we got there and it was 30 min till they would reopen. Which was fine. What irritated me was that due to the vast amount of people all on the lawn and standing along the dressing room doors. I assumed it would be wise to wait directly in front of one of the 3 payment windows. Which had 3 employees -1 per window. I was first in line to pay when they reopened. They let us know they would not take payment until it opened officially.-also fine. I was at window 3. And eventually the giant lines began forming behind me and in front of the other 2 windows. I made a little chit chat with the employee inside. Who let me know it was annoying to have people standing there staring at her (I assure you that looking at her was not what anyone was doing). I ceased speaking the rest of the wait. At least to her. Second before it reopened. She gets up and leaves the payment window. I quickly asked the other employees if she was returning. No answer. Then the employee at window one leaves. So now 3 full lines of customers. All the way down the sidewalk and then in various directions (hundreds of people) and we were all screwed. They knew we had been waiting so long at the front with kids. Knew they never planned on taking money. And that was very rude. Not to mention businesses should care for customers and get them service quickly. I spotted the run away employees just smirking and walking around one on their cell phone texting. Standing off to the side smirking and finding their trick amusing. They were teenagers maybe 19 or 20 at oldest. Super rude and they knew what they were doing. I don't understand people that like to cause others grief or discomfort and I don't think I would employ people with such little character as these 2. The poor girl left alone at the window with the mob told us it was her 2nd week she looked frazzled prob from being yelled at by all the people who were screwed over by the 2 bratty girls who ditched their responsibility Once inside all was redeemed. Did not see either girl again. I assumed they went back to their posts after the work was done. Lifeguards and other staff were helpful and professional and did great paying attention to their areas. It was very busy. They looked worn out as it was Sun and prob worked the whole weekend. But they were...
Read moreI had an altercation today with an untrained employee, that got myself and my young daughter separated. When I took my concerns to the manager, the lady there did not seem genuinely concerned about my issue. She had another younger lady following her around and brought her to me later while with my children to let me know how I disrespected their patron. I wanted so bad to educate her, but I let it go. Apparently the lady I had an altercation with was new, and I should cut her some slack she said. Well first day or not the girl was not trained properly and I took it to a manager. The other lady continued to tell me how the rules of the river have been that way for 20 years. This girl wasn't even born 20 years ago. She is assuming my age, and that I am a local and that it should have been common sense. The entrance I used had not been posted. Where I am from, and every pool place I have visted has not had that rule. I ended up having to tell my children we are leaving ,could not enjoy our day and I was not going to subject my children to such arrogant, rude behavior. While in the front of the facility while my daughter's were still in the changing room they wanted me to come back inside and leave my children unattended to talk. I had asked numerous times for a district managers number. She also accused me of threatening her cause I said I could get snotty back. I was the 1 being disrespected and treated so horribly. All because I tried to do the right thing and take it to a manager. Instead I got back talk and harassed. I could even see her other employees in that little room mimicking me. I told her I didn't find that amusing. At first Sara was doing well handling the situation but she lowered herself and her personal communication skills to try and impress her younger employees. That is not leadership. This company needs to hire a manager with experience. Not once did she correct the passive aggressive insults the other lady was constantly giving. I was almost to the point of calling the police but I did not want to ruin any more of my children's time. This is also A long story cut short. These children like teens with manager titles need a supervisor on the property. What if my daughter would have drowned cause of...
Read moreThere was a group (great grandma, myself which is a grandma, my oldest daughter, her husband and child, my son, his GF & daughter, my youngest daughter and 2 other grandkids of mine) of us that went on July 30th which was an event that day at the waterpark Grandparents day ( which meant grandparents get in free with a paid admission of a child) when we were paying no one seemed to think to mention this to us, nor did they bother to tell us even after we asked if there was a discount for non swimmers!! Was never made aware of this event it was not posted outside that day nor promoted by staff!! When I found out the next day and called to ask why they said they don't post nor advertise bc it is posted under events on the actual website, I followed the Facebook page no mention by the way!! They would not refund my money (I paid with cash) the manager apologized and said only way for a refund would have been the day of!! Disappointed on service and also staff!! Had issues with life guards being disrespectful to my granddaughter telling her she was to small to try obstacle course and then my youngest granddaughter got knocked down, was face down and unable to get up due to life jacket just few feet away from life guard and they didn't do anything to help, we struggled to get to her due to other kids!! Just over all bad experience will not...
