3/19/25- As a dad, I rarely take the kids to the park; however, my wife frequently takes them, so they are well-acquainted with the various playgrounds. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to see the new playgrounds for the first time. The facilities are beautifully designed and very impressive. I observed a range of playgrounds catering to different age groups, allowing children of all ages to have an enjoyable experience. I like how the playgrounds are separate yet close enough to enable families to stay together. The park was bustling with parents and children, as well as teenagers, all having a great time even with the overcast skies. ⛔️ However, I did notice two grown men on the different platforms, which seemed out of place. I would recommend that parents exercise caution and supervise their children, rather than dropping them off. This is merely my opinion and a suggested safety precaution. ⛔️ The park also features walkways that are ideal for getting some exercise or riding a bike. There is plenty to see, and I anticipate that once the zoo, train, and other attractions open, the park will be crowded. I suggest visiting the park while it is still quiet to make the most of the experience and get familiar. Note: It is essential to maintain the park's cleanliness. I was disappointed to see a few coffee cups littered in the younger kids' section. I encourage parents to teach their children the importance of keeping the park clean by picking up trash in front of them. Neglecting to do so may result in the deterioration of the facilities we all use.

We rode the Train and had fun feeding the baby goats. We saw the majestic bald eagle and the otters. The Emu was scary but cool. And the wallabies were staying in the shade cooling off. Goat food is fifty cents a cone and the butterfly garden was very pretty. Had plenty of places to sit and rest. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Huge park with several sections. Nice variety of things to do. It was big enough for adults to climb around which I did. Plenty of slides and even turf where the slides are so you can use it as a slide (wear long pants for the turf slide). It was clean and beautiful with lots of parking but the parking is on a street.

Park built in the 1890's and has a rich tradition. So many upgrades and improvements it doesn't seem that old at all. You can see old photos around town and they're amazing. But in it's current iteration, it's a playground for children, a bandstand for concerts, a waterpark for families, a huge pond for water lovers, and a beautiful zoo for everyone. Baby goats, wallabees, butterflies, and eagle, and even penguins live here. It's just amazing. Oh....and a train which is always so fun. This park is just beautiful and is right in the middle of town. If you haven't visited, you should. It's a wonderful time. HIGHLY...

Update... They have come a long way since four years ago. I am glad they have fixed the older kids areas,BUT they still have not tried to fix the younger kids area. At least change the sand area. PLEASE. It frustrates me, I can not let them roam and play without having to worry that they are going to find something nasty and hurt themselves with. Definitely not how I remember as a kid. Everything on the playground is run down and some broken and there is not a whole lot for little ones to play on anymore. Im happy that they remodeled everything else but they really need to take care of the...
