Scott Street Pub offers a nice variety of food. We came in on a Wednesday after the lunch hour. We were immediately greeted by the bartender/ server (I believe her name is Julie). We had great service , only one other customer, however. For an app, we ordered breaded mushrooms. It was a large serving. They were super crunchy and delicious. I had a recommended glass of Oliver Blueberry Moscato 😋 (I highly recommend if you are not a huge drinker and want a mild, sweet flavored drink instead of that annoying alcohol taste, lower alcohol level too!). Thanks for the recommendation, Julie.
I ordered the breaded tenderloin, which was great ( next time, I will leave some of the garden off, just a personal preference). Very nice breading to meat ratio, in my opinion. I also had fries, which were crispy, mildly peppery ( I didn't know I liked that) and obviously made in-house.
My husband ordered 2 coney dogs. He said they were OK, tasted out of the can. However, I think they are a scratch made kitchen. He tends to be hard to please when eating at a restaurant, but he ate both and didn't complain about them later (😉). The homemade potato chips are very nice!
All in all, we had a great meal! With excellent service in a newly remodeled, clean, and comfy...

This place is fantastic! I went there on a Thursday after work (noonish) and there were more than a few people there, but the seating is separated so it didn't bother me. You can sit at the bar, by the door, in the back of the restaurant, and they have different sized seats and tables, which I appreciate.
I got a sandwich, appetizer, cocktail, and dessert for ~35 bucks. Everything was delicious! The server helped myself and another patron make our selections and answered all of my questions about their food specials, which are different every day and they even have a couple rotating ones.
I went through the week, so maybe they're hoppin' on the weekends, but it wasn't loud, didn't feel crowded, and everything was brought out timely and toasty. The reuben and breaded mushrooms I got were nigh perfect and I'm curious about their fried green pepper rings.
This place is neither tacky nor pretentious, and they know they serve good food. I've already told a few people about this place and am definitely going back.
Almost forgot! It's right down the street from Second Flight Books and across from a lovely park, so you can make an...
Read moreWe came here to get some lunch the day after the Oregon-Purdue game (go 🦆s!) before heading back home. Had originally planned on going to XXX based on friend recommendations, but they were 45 to hour wait. Found Scott Street Pub on a whim on the way out of town and could not have been more pleased.
At 2ish on a Saturday, we were one of about 4 groups and service was instant. Space was well lit, TVs playing football games.
Our server was super friendly, even offering to fill up our travel mugs for the journey home. My wife had a burger that she said was yummy. I got the special of the day breaded and fried shrimp, tossed in the honey hot sauce. We shared a side of fries. Shrimp were plump and tasty. But man, the fries were really the star of the show! Obviously fresh cut, fried to order, perfect amount of seasoning and crispiness. Also they have nice crunchy ice. If we come back to Lafayette, we will...
