First of all, they don’t have menus. There is no menu on their website either. I ordered $19 worth of food, 4 items, I was waiting on chicken, sauce and fries for 10 minutes when there was one customer who came up the entire time I was there, & they only got a drink. I was the only person waiting by the window, an older man who wasn’t even working when I ordered my food held a bag of food out and quickly said a jumble of words of which only “french fries” was audible. He slammed the window damn near before I could even take the bag from his hand. I went back home and realized I have a breaded tenderloin with toppings and fries. I called to let them know of the mistake, I was interrupted right as I said “I was just there a few-“. He made it clear he knew what I was talking about right away, and the first thing he said (after laughing) was “I said tenderloin and you took it anyway.” Uhh? When you shove food out and speak quickly when the person hasn’t even reached the window yet, no one hears “tenderloin”. Second of all, who openly blames a customer like that? Especially when it’s your mistake. You make sure the customer confirms it’s their order, and tell them to have a good one before slamming a window in their face. To add, the toppings whoever added to this tenderloin are the sorriest looking veggies I’ve seen on a sandwich. Overall, I hope ya’ll had a wonderful time making another tenderloin for whoever’s order you messed up and avoid this dump...
Read moreWent by their drive through on a Saturday afternoon. Pretty decent line of cars, perhaps waited around 5-10 minutes to put our order in and get our custard, so not too bad. Employees had face coverings on (much appreciated!).
I tried their soggy bottom, which is basically vanilla custard, with peanut butter sauce and crushed oreos at the bottom. Portions are big. Prices are very reasonable. There was plenty of peanut butter on there (maybe a little too much?) and not enough oreos :( but the flavors were good. They use the environmentally hazardous styrofoam type dishes which was really disappointing to see. Overall, a pretty average experience.
In response to what the owner has posted: Thank you for taking the time to reply to my review. I really appreciate that.
It's good IF the styrofoam is being recycled. But this is only if the customer makes the effort to dispose of the containers in a recycling bin. Styrofoam is a petroleum based product. Thus, its production and destruction (in landfills) is toxic to the environment. When exposed to certain levels of sun, it can burn releasing toxic chemicals into the air. Even hot liquids and foods can cause the partial breakdown of styrofoam, causing us to ingest harmful toxins. There are some wonderful new materials out on the market that do not exact a toll on the environment or humans in its production or in its disposal (whether they are...
Read moreOh, sweet patrons, lend me thine ears, for a tale of woe do I unfold,. This establishment, purporting to serve the divine concoction known as a "banana split," hath beguiled us with false promises and deceit.
Upon yon table, arrived a vessel not of splendor, but of disappointment disguised. A conglomeration of ice, bereft of the promised banana's golden hue, lay there in pitiful array. What mockery, what affront to the noble fruit it bore the name of!
No banana graced this mockery of a split, but instead, a mere shadow of its former self. The ice, though plentiful, lacked the creamy richness that doth characterize true indulgence. Alas, the fudge, once promised to flow like the river Styx, was but a trickle, and the whipped cream, a sad imitation of clouds in a tempest-torn sky.
Oh, how the taste buds wept, as they beheld this travesty! For a banana split it was not, but a sorrowful concoction, a betrayal of expectations, a pitiful masquerade. Hence, I beseech thee, fair travelers, to heed my lament and steer clear of this den of culinary deceit, lest ye too fall prey to its treacherous charms.
