Southgate Shopping Center — Attraction in Lake Charles

We went here for our Taylor Dental appointments for my two younger kiddo's to have their check-ups! The entire plaza has been rebuilt and is SO very nice and fancy! ❤️ Everything is brand new! Parking lot was ALL smoothed out and pretty too. It was a quick roll up into that parking lot and into our appointments and got what we needed done there! They were excellent there! Staff and dentist there was AMAZING as we remembered from the last time. We appreciate them being so patient and kind with my littles! Especially, with my 6 year old girl who had to get X-rays for the 1ST time since she had lost 2 teeth and has 2 more wiggling and almost on their way out! She was NOT a fan of that mouth piece to bite down on and how uncomfortable and painful it was for her. But they reassured her and showed her what it was for, explained step by step instead of rushing through it and scaring her more! Y'all...

I frequent this location on a fairly regular basis. I make purchases from the Office Depot for office related needs. There is also a FedEx shipping center open for business. There are a few other stores that are still making storm related repairs and one new store building going up right next to the Office Depot location. I do miss the Books A Million that was here at one time before Hurrican Laura came knocking... Hopefully the repair phase won't last much longer, it would be nice to visit here for new reading material and fresh coffee on the weekends. This was one of my daughter's...

The Southgate Shopping Center is a great place to be. You can do your grocery shopping at Market Basket, pick up a hot fresh pizza from Lil Ceaser, catch up on your reading from Book A Million, pick up all household and some food supplies for a dollar at Dollar Tree, and lets not forget about Vehicle Insurance and get your hair done, all in one place. So Yes I Love Southgate Shopping Center. It truly is a one stop...
