DO NOT TRUST THESE CROOKS. I wish i could give negative stars. We were scammed by these workers and I don't understand how these people can take advantage of hard working people. They had workers who had NO CLUE what they were doing, I had to coach the workers on how to correctly set up the new phones. They FORCED us to buy accessories with our sign up for new phones saying that we had to buy them in order to get the promotion, even after I questioned it he told us he can't delete it and the manager confirmed that we had to buy them. I felt that was weird because all my years in getting new phones I have never had to buy accessories in order to receive a promotion. I called tmobile customer service the next day and they reimbursed me for all accessories because they lied. (They make commission on accessories) Lied about making us purchase insurance on our phones. I personally need the insurance but my fiance did not want it, they told us we had to have it for 6 months then we could cancel. Called tmobile the next day and shocker... LIE! I was able to immediately cancel the insurance on his phone. Then we found out that they lied about getting a reimbursement on my verizon phone when I tried to complete the form to pay off my verizon phone. Tmobile customer service told me the store gave us the buy one get one free promotion that didnt allow me to use the reimbursement. I made it VERY clear I needed the reimbursement several times. My fiance called the store and he told us we were given a choice that day. LIAR! Because I would most definitely chose the reimbursement and paid for two phones. Complete fools and crooks at this store. Luckily I am knowledgeable enough that this didn't seem right.... I normally wouldn’t post something like this, but as a single mom, I feel like I have to say something in hopes of helping someone else avoid what happened to me.
I went into the Lake Orion T-Mobile store looking to get a new phone. I brought my toddler with me and asked very clearly what the cost would be. I was told multiple times that it would be $99 out the door and $99 a month. I even repeated the question to be sure. They offered me a choice between three devices if I added a $20 protection plan — I chose a tablet since I figured it would help with my little one.
Weeks went by and the tablet never came. I called the T-Mobile customer service line and found out not only had the order been canceled, but an extra line had been added to my account, despite me making it very clear I was only getting one line — just for me.
Thankfully, the rep on the phone canceled the extra line and sent the tablet, which I appreciated. But then things got worse. Four more lines were added to my account not long after that. I never authorized that.
Fast forward to moving and trying to switch service providers — I had to pay nearly $1,000 just to unlock my phone. I was shocked. That was never explained to me when I first signed up. I truly thought everything had been clearly discussed and agreed on, because I kept asking to make sure.
I even reached out to the manager, Mohammed, and was dismissed. He told me I must have been hacked and said he was going to hang up on me.
This whole experience has been incredibly frustrating, confusing, and expensive — especially as someone trying to provide for my child on her own.

I HAD TO PAY OFF THE 2 PHONES I GOT 100% BECAUSE HE TOLD ME AFTER I PAID THEM OFF THEY WOULD BE UNLOCKED- also lies lies lies!!! I PAID THEM OFF AND THEN WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT 40 DAYS BEFORE I COULD GET A TRANSFER PIN TO HAVE MY PHONE WORK WITH ANOTHER CARRIER EVEN THOUGH I OWNED THE PHONE.
40 DAYS GOES BY THEN I HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 72 HOURS! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????
CONTACTED THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND ATTORNEY GENERAL AND THEY APPARENTLY HAVE HAD MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIA LOCATION! LONG STORY SHORT, TMOBILE HAS RO REIMBURSE ME FOR MY PHONES AND FAKE 2 MONTHS OF SERVICE!!!
