Dogpatch Store — Attraction in Lake Ozark

I will never bring my kids to the arcade here again! My 11 year old son was on one of the kids rides in front of the arcade when they short darked haired worked began to scream at the top of her lungs at him to get off her kid ride! I tried to just leave and take my money elsewhere until I saw the years in my son's eyes and that's when I decided to tell her was wasn't funny or cute by screaming at a child to the point of making him cry! Her response was well he looks older and would tell him she was sorry which is when I blow up and told her what I thought and I hope she felt as horrible as she made my child feel. I dont understand why anyone would allow someone to work I'm a kids play area that treats kids so horrible or how someone can feel comfortable to make a child feel so horrible that they cry!! I hope no one ever has to have their child deal with this woman ever or any parent have to watch their child cry over what this horrible woman says to their child!! I understand it's a souvenir/tourist trap but this place (and the rest of the strip as well) is really garbage. Lots of junky type items or things I feel they bought from stores going out of business at discount to resell. We've been coming here the past 3 years...same things nothing's changed. I mean there is a statue that they've been trying to sell for at least 2 years that is broken with half a leg of the man missing for a slight discount. The kids don't even want to buy things from them or any of the other shops.

I give this place 1 star because the old grandma working at Dog patch was so incredibly rude. We were astonished at how cool the store was and were having a good time until we checked out. She had an attitude the entire process and when she gave me bag she tossed it at me. Idk what got into her but at least say hi when we walk in or try not to look mad and act mad the entire time we check out. She then went outside to sit and smoke and kept staring at us in our car when we were looking at our cool finds. Who the hell knows what’s going through some peoples miserable minds but...
