My family and I were recently on a vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks and first time visitors. Growing up, my father told me many stories of visiting Paradise Parasail, a business that his best friend had worked at many summers in the 1990’s. His friend has since passed away, but the stories of this place and my Dad’s many visits to it have lived on. My Dad has had a Paradise Parasail hat on his own boat for probably 30 years now that he still wears. So naturally, I absolutely had to make this a stop of ours sometime during our trip and pick up a souvenir. We made it by Paradise Parasail yesterday and I was able to pick up a shirt for my Dad, the perfect Father’s Day gift. Unfortunately, when I made it back to our hotel, I found in the bag a youth XL instead of the adult XL that I had requested. I called the company and spoke with Andrea to explain the mixup and ask if I could return before we left town this morning and exchange the shirt. First, Andrea apologized profusely for the mix-up. Next, she stated that she would be happy to drive the shirt over to our hotel after her shift ended at 5:30pm. I felt terrible as our hotel was over 20 minutes away from Paradise Parasail, but she insisted she make it right. Sure enough, Andrea drove the shirt over to me yesterday evening! I am sad to say that we did not parasail during our trip. I wish we had had time, but our trip was for a youth baseball tournament and we had a jam packed schedule. That said, I absolutely had to share this story with potential customers of this business. Andrea went completely out of her way to make it right, and all I did was buy a $20 t-shirt for my Dad. This is ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service! I can only imagine how well our parasailing trip would have gone with this wonderful company had we been able to make it on the lake this trip. I wanted to be sure to give Andrea a shout out and also this amazing company for “making it right” and also making my Dad’s Father’s Day amazing this year! Your kindness did not go unnoticed and is so...
Read moreMy family and I parasailed with Paradise for the first time last year on summer vacation, in 2022. We had our family vacation again this year in the Ozarks and it was the ONLY thing we knew we wanted to do again! I have metal rods in my back and my Mom had both her total knees done, and we both were completely comfortable and was able to have a blast. Captain/owner Justin does takeoffs and landings beautifully! So even those with ailments can enjoy an amazing experience. I have had my Polaroids on my fridge all year long, looking at them every day, anxiously waiting to be up in the wind again, over the lake. And you cannot beat the 50% off for life deal with the Polaroids! I only wished I lived closer so I could go more often with those prices! Thank you so much, Justin, for being such an amazing owner/operator. You run a great company, hire amazing co-captains, and offer a wonderful experience! Hope to see you again next year!! Have a great rest of your...
Read moreUPDATE-we went parasailing again this year and I was able to go too. The staff was the same and it was spectacular. Can’t wait to go again next year. They have a few packages to choose from but there was no high pressure sales pitch like you find at many touristy businesses. I know they are there to make $ but sure feels like their main goal is that their customers have the best time. 5⭐️again. I’ll be back for sure. Visit #1-This was a spur of the moment decision and we are so glad we did it. The girls at the front desk were so helpful. The driver of the transport boat helped me when I was having trouble boarding the boat for parasailing (so sweet of him). The captain of the big boat was hilarious. At every stage of our time with them I felt so confident that we were in good hands and safe. This team knows what they are doing, no question about it. We will be back there to see them next...
