RIP Tavern — Restaurant in Lake Ozark

Our group is here from Indiana and let me tell you this place didn’t disappoint. We came for the Shootout and enjoyed the boat parade. We were so hungry and stopped here at RIPS. Katie greeted us with a great smile and prompt service. We order bone in and boneless wings that happened to be on special for .75c a wing, they were incredible!! The food took about 20mins, very impressive for the amount of people there. Katie and Sarah never missed a beat while getting their butts kicked. They were friendly, fast and just amazing! Didn’t catch the gentleman’s name but he looked to be a manager or owner, he was awesome too, stepping in, cleaning up tables whatever needed done to support those ladies. We walked in about 11 pm and were greeted promptly. The waitress was really nice and accommodating. We were served drinks quickly and ordered nachos and a cheeseburger. The burger was pretty good and the nachos were enormous. I ate about one fourth of the nachos until I took a bite of hamburger towards the center that tasted like a rotten egg. I let the server know and she was very apologetic and brought me out some onion rings instead, which were fantastic. We stopped by here on our last leg of a trip back home from Branson. The waitress was very kind. They also had live music. The wings were delicious. The portions (chicken sandwich and burger) were also huge. Great curly fries. The best part was we met a veteran on the pati who was telling us about places to take our kids in the lake area. He was very kind and respectful. When we asked for our bill, he had already paid it for us! It was a pleasant surprise and truly humbling way to end our trip.
