I wish there were an option to leave NO stars. I have a very extensive background in customer service and customer satisfaction; with that being said, I know what it takes to be accommodating and show customer appreciation. Now, this was my first time coming in to order from here and I will NOT be coming back. I came here with a friend and my boyfriend and we’d ordered sour dough melts with NO ONIONS* meaning, ONLY: MEAT, CHEESE AND BREAD.
I didn’t think to check it because I’d had a long day at work and I didn’t think I would have to at a decent looking place such as Culver’s. I also didn’t think to check because it wasn’t that busy so you couldn’t possibly haphazardly compose a burger incorrectly if you have the time to prepare it. When I got home, it was to my dismay that there were grilled onions on both my sour dough melt and my boyfriends.
Now, I don’t have a car and I’m just hungry and all I want to do is eat a decent hot meal so I don’t even want to argue with anyone. I call the restaurant back, explain everything that happened and that I don’t have a car. The “manager” offered to send me coupons in the mail. I told him that I’d prefer to be refunded. He says yes, tells me that since I’d had paid with card that it would be fine, then puts me on hold and proceeded to tell me when coming back that it’s actually against policy and that he could mails me out some coupons again. If explained this time I’d no interest in coming back because of my experience. He said he was sorry and that, that’s what he could do as a manager because I wasn’t coming back for them to remake it. I explained once again that I didn’t have a car and that I’d like to be refunded because of what happened. He asked if my boyfriend could bring me in so they could remake our food.
I, again, explained that we didn’t have a car so this was not feasible. He’d suggested I’d take an Uber to come back and get the food. When I’d told him that Made no logical sense he went back and acted as if the thought and idea had never left his mouth. He then had stated again that the only other option was for him to mail me out some coupons. I am in shock at the unwillingness to accommodate a customer when I primarily have a background in customer service. I was wanting to go back but by the way that they were not willing to merely refund me for my wasted time and money. I’m SO glad I didn’t eat this because I am HIGHLY ALLERGIC to onions. I wish they’d been more accommodating because then I’d have been WAY more likely to return and advertise. That’s a shame, because my boyfriend brought me home some of their really...
Read moreWent here because a friend of mine told me to try it out when I was in the area. I'm glad I did! I'm not big of fast food but, at times, when I get so hungry and can't function and fast food is the only option, I stop into a fast food joint a quick meal. Most of the times, I don't take notice and gobble up my heat-lamp scorched meal and go on my merry way. Not this time. Everything was different. First of all, the ambience is a step up from traditional fast food. The dining area has partitions with little nooks here and there, offering privacy and comfort. A great spot to bring your laptop and catch up on some emails or outstanding work or to read a book and relax. The Culver employees go out of there way to ensure your satisfaction - at first, when you order and, surprisingly in a fast food restaurant environment, after you sit down to enjoy your meal. While enjoying my food, I was greeted by warm and attentive employees who asked me what I thought about my meal and the restaurant in general. They really cared about my opinion. I had the fish sandwich with fries and it was excellent! The kind of meal you'd find in a higher tiered restaurant. It was breaded and fried but it wasn't greasy at all and tasted very fresh. The portion was large and I left fat and happy! I grabbed a cup of their specialty coffee before I left (I needed it after that meal - the large meal got me sleepy) and enjoyed the coffee very much. Culver's is redefining fast food and I hope that other established fast food restaurants follow their lead. I will definitely return and I suggest you stop by when you're in the area. Make sure...
Read moreI was just in and treated very, VERY rudely by your manager Erica. She was fulfilling orders while my stand alone order for onion rings sat. My order number was 152 and she continued filling orders up through and past 172 as I stood at the counter waiting. When someone else asked what I was waiting for I said my onion rings and Erica heard that and I watched as she handed them to someone who then took them out of the paper and placed them in a basket. I asked for fresh ones and she argued with me that they were fresh. But I had my eyes on them the whole time. At that point she refused to acknowledge me. I repeatedly asked for a manager. (Erica was right there.) An employee finally said that Erica was the manager. I asked her for an apology and she stated that she doesn't need to apologize. I explained that I've done corporate level customer service training for both AT&T and Disney and I had not stepped out of bounds as a customer but her behavior was not appropriate. She informed me that she will not apologize. Culver's, this young woman is not a good representative of your company. Is this what you're looking for in management? I would still like an apology and, at this point, I'd like to know what the next steps would be in dealing with this employee. I hope to hear from...
