I went on Sunday October 30, 2016 to try to find a goat meat taco along the lines of those advertised by the press and touted as a send up to the World Series games at Wrigley Field this Fall in 2016. Just as when they had the last World Series at Wrigley Field and they advertised goat meat tacos, all I could find near the Belmont Station of the Red Line, which is right near Wrigley Field where the Cubs play, was a really bad Cuban sandwich. And guess what else? What you might call a present for Fidel or Raoul Castro. And by that I mean that I found a vehicle belonging to Isis near the bad vintage signage for "Thorsten" or "Thorstensen" "Glass" on a brick building right near this subway stop. The white van had "RRA" military plates and also a United States Marine Corps license plate holder. On the car was some fake Arabic scrawl. Not in the form of graffiti, but as a sort of decal. When I went to Stanford University as an undergrad low these many years, I discovered that the car sits behind an obvious military installation right there in what is sometimes called the North Belmont area near Wrigley Field. Lisa Creppell was with me when we found the military several decades ago where I found one of their vehicles right near Wrigley Field before a World Series game. Is that why one of the U.S. flags was flown at half mast today on State Street in Chicago in the Loop? You tell me. Strange...

The station is fully accessible and has both escalators and elevators, as well as entrances/exits on both sides of the street. They have a few very old digital signs up that do not display useful information, which is why I took off a star. However, they do have a few brand new digital signs that were recently installed. There is a lot to do in the surrounding neighborhood. I've always felt safe using this...
