Good Omen Tattoo — Attraction in Lake View Township

I've admired Good Omen from a distance for some time, as I follow the shop and all of their artists on Instagram.

I booked an appointment with a guest artist, Kev Bee (@kvb.kvb.kvb), and my experience was above and beyond. Being a first-timer and in the midst of a pandemic, I do admit that I was VERY shy, but by the time I was done, I wanted a complete do-over so I could talk more and get to know the artists.

From the decor to the experience, everything was perfect! I can't wait to go back and take a picture of my healed tattoo while I stand in front of the GORGEOUS front window. A great initiation into the "tattoo club."

Other reviewers mentioning Julia's attention to detail and thorough aftercare instructions are 100% accurate. I was a bit spacey after I got off the table, so I missed a bit of explaining by my artist, but Julia had been so thorough with her client during my session that I felt confident leaving the shop and heading home to heal my awesome tat.

I came across Julia’s work and instantly knew that I wanted to work with her on a phoenix design on my forearm. From start to finish, the entire scheduling and tattooing process was so smooth and easy to do. I filled out Julia’s form and heard from her within a day or two. We scheduled the date and all of the planning was straightforward and easy. The day of my appointment, I walked into the shop and everyone was so welcoming and kind. I was absolutely blown away by the design Julia gave me for my tattoo and I was so excited to get started. The entire tattoo process was amazing. Julia took the time to ensure I was comfortable and periodically checked on me to make sure I was doing well during the process. The end result turned out better than I could have ever expected. I have never been happier with a tattoo and everyone I have shown has loved it. Good Omen is the only place I will be going for tattoos moving forward. I worked with Kate, who was a true professional. She was so kind and empathetic and made sure I had everything I needed to feel comfortable. She was happy to accommodate any changes I wanted to make to the STUNNING design she had prepared for me (size change, position change, etc.) and was completely done in just over an hour. We had great conversation, and I think she knew this was something I needed to distract myself from the feeling of the needle (it was my first tattoo). Her work is beautiful, and she made sure that I had food, snacks, and a good understanding of aftercare before I left. Good Omen is a queer women-owned and operated business. This is not common, in my experience - every tattoo shop I’ve been to to get my piercings was predominately male owned and staffed.
