I first started coming to Dr. Ross after my foot surgery about a year ago. I was nonweightbearing for four months in my whole body fell apart because of the overcompensation and I wasn’t able to walk on my foot. Dr. Ross used Active Release Techniques (ART) I’m not only my foot but other parts of my body that were overcompensating for not being able to walk for such long time.
Unfortunately, I had to have foot surgery again in March 2023 to have a pin removed from my foot. Dr. Ross was one of the first people I called when I was able to start receiving physical therapy again and was cleared from the doctors. The adjustments that I’ve received and ART have help speed up my healing and get me back to my self.
Kenna is so welcoming and greets me with such a smile every time I arrive at the office. They’re so great about helping schedule my appointment, especially because my work schedule can be demanding and changes often.
I recommended Dr. Ross to numerous friends and my mom actually had a knee replacement about a month ago and I’m hoping that she’ll be able to come here as part of her rehabbing.
Dr. Ross is a gifted chiropractor. He has a great bedside manner and he’s always ready and willing to help work on the goals that you have as a patient. He wants you to get back to your regular scheduled program and I can say every-time I’ve worked with him, he’s helped me get to where I want to be. I’m so glad he’s in Chicago!
When you wait for your appointment you can take advantage of the Normatec compression boots, which is soooo nice because it helps you arrive and get settled and focus on yourself and get the most out of...
Read moreThis review has to do more with the billing practices of the facility rather than Dr. Ross. I would not recommend going there if you are paying through insurance.
Dr. Ross did a good job treating me but unfortunately I will no longer be going there because of the way billing is handled.
I was personally charged more than my co-pay - even though my insurance had paid for the visit. The regular charge a patient pays for 1hr visit is around $230. They bill my insurance much more than that and get a higher amount paid out - and even then I am charged additional charges. They tried to say that insurance only covers 30 min visits but the charges billed through my insurance are much higher than the 30 min visit charges. They also charged me more than the deductible listed in my explanation of benefits even for 30 min visits.
Someone was supposed to call me back to discuss the issue but never did and I just don't have time to be carefully tracking every single claim out of fear that I will be overcharged again.
Dr. Ross was great, but just not worth the hassle for me. There are places that will not nickel and dime me just because I...
Read moreCame here in 2020 for a total of 10 sessions. Dr. Ross is amazing and does great work.
Reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because 4 out of the 10 sessions were billed incorrectly. When they finally realized they billed me incorrectly I was told that they would use the over payments as credits towards future visits. I agreed without knowing how much I was actually supposed to be paying. When I was billed incorrectly my copay was $127 when they finally fixed it it went down to $27. When I finally saw my insurance bill in the mail seeing that I was over charged 100$ for four different sessions I lost confidence and stopped showing up. Basically lost that money because they did went the less complicated route and “credited the difference to my account“ instead of correcting their billing mistake, and now I’m left “credits” that I’m never going to use.
Again the service Dr Ross provides is excellent.
I’d just watch out for your...
