1102 Bubble Tea & Coffee Lake Worth — Attraction in Lake Worth

I went there two hours before it closed and the boba was already stiff, imagine how hard the boba would be for those that come in later, closer to close. Other places usually are chewy like how it's supposed to be, so I couldn't finish my drink because the boba just felt terrible. The tea was actually good, the ratio of tea to milk was great. There were two people before me, and one already ordered before I walked in. One employee was just slowly rinsing the blender container while the other did all the work. The one rinsing the container would go over and watch the other make the drink, but she didn't do anything to help. They've left the drink station multiple times, while the drinks were ready to be poured into the cup, or sealed. They took about 25 minutes to make my drink. I would understand if they were busy, but between the 3 customers that were waiting, that is a long time. We all only had one drink. The employees would talk and pause and go to the back or just concentrate on things they didn't need to make the drinks. I would've had time to go to another boba place, and the quality of boba would've been better too. Okay, I have to gush a little—1102 Bubble Tea & Coffee is such a hidden gem in Lake Worth. The moment you walk in, it’s cozy, clean, and has that “I could hang out here for hours” kind of vibe. Whether you’re working on your laptop, meeting a friend, or just grabbing a quick treat, it totally hits the mark.

The drink menu? Super impressive. You can customize everything—tea base, sweetness, toppings, you name it. I tried the jasmine milk tea with mango jelly, and it was chef’s kiss. So fresh, not too sweet, and the boba was perfectly chewy (which is a big deal if you know, you know). I’ve also had their oolong macchiato and peppermint cookie drinks in the past—everything I’ve ordered has been delicious.

What really makes this place stand out though is the staff. Seriously some of the nicest people ever. It’s those little things that keep me coming back.

Do not expected to be greeted with high energy or smiles. Nice beautiful place, with a need of a deep cleaning (in the front amd back), and bobaristas who actually want to be there. The service is SLOWWW, making a turtle into a speed action figure in comparison. The place was not meant for efficiency, a shame as the drinks are truly remarkable taste wise, even though a hot milk tea will arrive tepid into your hands by the time you get called. It Took 42mn to get 2 drinks with only one family ahead of us. The drinks are good will not remove that from them, on the pricey side considering other places. But the wait, the mood, the 2 clients having to check themselves out on only one register is a waste. I have never seen this place packed (at most 4 paying clients at once).
