Dobbins Park — Attraction in Lakeland

Dobbins Park is what a neighborhood park should be. There's a communal feel here with neighborhood kids and families playing about the park. There is a large open field with both children and adults playing soccer and other activities. My children enjoyed particularly enjoyed the large play structure and ziplines that were in the play area.

A common item I've seen in Florida playgrounds are what I would call industrial instruments. They're usually xylophones or hard plastic drums for young ones to beat on. I would assume they're installed at parks because children whom interact with instruments are given a higher percentage at finding success in life. With that being the instruments are present at Dobbins Park.

On the opposite side are several basketball courts for games if that's your thing. This was not my first trip to Dobbins Park and...

Bathroom is nasty, completely outdated, tables need to be reattached at the group as they wobble a lot, we've been here twice & everything is the same. Had my daughters 7th birthday party here today & the trahiest people I've ever seen were ganging up on ONE person because they claimed his dog bit someone but the dog did not. They degraded that man, threatened him, surrounded him, just absolutely disgusting. That has nothing to do with the park itself but this is the SECOND issue at this park. The playground in it of itself is very nice. Doesn't look run down, and it's fairly spacious. There's some pavilions nearby as well as a basketball court and open field. The real issue however is the BATHROOMS. They are beyond DISGUSTING. Someone needs to really just get in there with a pressure washer and just plow it all down. Those bathrooms look like they might get "cleaned" once every 2 weeks. Which considering the pandemic, it wouldn't kill them to clean the...
