If you value customer service then please avoid this place. Once the dresses were ordered and paid for there was zero communication. When the delivery date had passed we tried contacting the shop for weeks to no response. Finally the owner reached out to say that they had no contact with their suppliers and that the dresses would get there when they get there. The dresses finally arrived 2 months late and 2 of the dresses are the wrong color... The shopping experience was great and they are very helpful and friendly, but once you have paid expect that helpfulness to end there.

This is fine, but if that is the case don’t give a delivery date and then provide no update when weeks have passed. My fiancée, the Maid of Honor, another bridesmaid, and the wedding coordinator tried to contact your shop and could not get a response. Finally, one person responded to give the same spiel about not having contact with your suppliers.

I reached out to you because my fiancée was tired of getting nowhere with your shop. There was no intimidation intended, just another person trying to contact an unresponsive business. At no point was gender brought into this, I don’t know where you are pulling this from, but this is laughable.

Yes, the bridesmaids signed and paid the invoices because they believed the colors to be correct based on the swatches provided and the discussion with Kristen. You did not have the color/design in stock, so they picked them out based on swatches and a different dress you had in stock in the correct color. It took 2-3 days to realize the situation because not everyone lives in the same area, one person had to pick up all 4 dresses because you only gave the option of picking them up 2 weeks after delivery or picking them up on one day during a small window of time on Friday(3 days ago). Only upon inspection did they realize it wasn’t the color that they ordered with your staff. I understand you wanting to support your staff, but is it that hard to believe they made a mistake, when they, and you couldn’t even get the Maid of Honor’s name correct? It’s Amanda by the way, maybe you gave “Ashley” the correct order though.

When I say that I had the most wonderful experience at The Southern Swan, it is an understatement. Right off the bat, Olivia and Kenzie were so kind and wonderful! They made me feel that I fit right in; no pressure, no judgment!

I had only visited one other bridal shop before coming here, and so was expecting the same vibe: personal, limited approach, and not a lot of group opinions allowed. But this was different. When we sat down Kenzie told us to go ahead and start looking through dresses, myself and my group included, as we all knew my taste “better” than they did. We were pleasantly shocked by this hands-on and inclusive approach, an dove right in. I let the woman in my group go on, and I stayed back, to watch, and while doing so, Olivia started pulling ones she thought I might like as well, which felt entirely uplifting! Once we had a good selection, Kenzie pulled me to the back and we got started.

I quite enjoyed that before going out to the main room to show the group, Kenzie would have me stand in front on the dressing room mirror and asked me how I felt. We then walked out and modeled for the group, and received welcoming opinions.

Such as was with the first bridal shop, I did not expect to find “The Dress”. I had a few that I felt great in and loved, so I thought I would choose from those. However, upon putting on dress number 5, I felt this wonderful feeling coursing through my body before I even saw myself. It quite literally felt like magic. I was speechless when I saw myself and started crying once I went out to show the girls. I had never felt like that before, but I knew with all my heart that that dress was the right one for me.

My favorite part about this entire experience though, was the “dolled up” part. Kenzie and Olivia pulled the group to the other side of the salon and made me close my eyes while they added touches here and there, to complete the day-of bridal look. Upon counting down to three, we were able to open our eyes and see the final look, and it was breathtaking.

The time, attention, and kindness that Kenzie and Olivia put into our session was like no other! I know I do not have much to compare it on, but it is not everyday that you can feel like a bride. I am an October 2025 bride and went to Southern Swan Boutique in Lakeland, FL to try and find my perfect dress. I had previously gone to another bridal dress store thinking I had found the one! But, as every bride should, I picked another bridal boutique just in case.. When I got to the appointment, I was greeted by friendly and warm staff as well as the entire boutique to OURSELVES for the entire appointment!! This was so refreshing from the beginning because the previous bridal store I had been to was FULL of other brides, their families and was just so overwhelming and almost felt like I was “just another bride”. This was NOT my experience at Southern Swan Boutique!! From the moment I stepped into my appointment, I was made to feel comfortable and safe in how I truly felt about the dresses, how i felt in the dresses, what I wanted and what my vision was. Right off the bat, Ashlee was adamant that I try on different styles so we could get a feel for what i did and did not love about certain dresses. By the half way mark of the appointment, I had found THE ONE!!

I was able to bring my family at a later date to another appointment to see MY dress. At this second appointment we were graced with the presence of the amazing designer/owner Olivia as well as the ever fabulous and supportive Ashlee. I would love to give the story of their generosity when they heard of my step dad’s passing but I am sure I will sob into my keyboard as I do every time I tell the story. However, I do want to leave you with the impression that the women working/owning this establishment have the kindest hearts and while they had no obligation to, they offered me support and understanding as well as options on how to include his police badge into my dress.

Over all, had I been aware of the personal and welcoming feelings this boutique and its staff were able to provide me with, I would not have spent my time at the other Bridal store where brides were packed in like sardines. I 1000% recommend going to this esteemed establishment for all bridal needs! I only wish more brides were in the know about Southern Swan Boutique as it deserves so much more appreciation and recognition than the big name...
