Lakeland’s newest ice cream spot does not disappoint! I have been to a Bright Ice location in Tampa so I was excited when I heard they were coming to Lakeland. This is located at the very edge of Dixieland across the street from Cob & Pen, and now next door to By the Chef pizza and a wine garden. So it’s a pretty great spot with a lot of stuff to walk to nearby. I love the theme here too- Bright Ice is BRIGHT and vibrant; and it feels more like an old school ice cream shop with the big sphere lights and burnt orange & yellow primary colors, and wood furnishing. Their ice creams are wonderful, I think they’re handmade in house? Or at least that’s how they taste, there’s no way it’s manufactured scream because it’s too good. And they have atypical flavors which I always appreciate because it’s fun to try unique ice creams and not just have the same flavors you see at every shop. But along with ice cream, they do serve coffee here as well. Better yet, you can add a shot of espresso to your shake or get an affogato and have the best of both worlds. I will be back to try one or both for sure. They have limited seating and there is some outdoor seating, but with the wine garden next door now too I think it’ll be a good place to sit out and enjoy. Definitely a great addition to the area.

A friend and I went for ice cream, and Bright Ice is definitely a treat! I love that they preserved the historic building and the rose bushes. The inside is bright and freshly decorated with cute tables and some outdoor seating. Another big plus for me is that the ice cream is made locally and has really great flavors. You can sample, and they don't use disposable spoons- love that they are not using disposable plastic for samples. They can do shakes and also make an afogato- with freshly crafted espresso. Bright ice is perfectly positioned next door to a pizza place and across from another Lakela d favorite- Cob and Pen. Come and support a great small business.

See the pics on the board, shows a cone with 2 scoops for $6.50. Pretty simple menu of like 4 main items. So anyways ordered a double scoop cone for 6.50 and they said I needed to also order a waffle cone since 2 scoops would not fit on a regular cone, so I said I just want the $6.50 cone advertised on the wall, they said that doesn’t actually work, but they can give me 2 scoops in a dish for $6.50

Saw this place on Ubereats so figured I’d give it a try, it was 12 dollars a pint of ice cream and it was the best two pints I’ve ever ordered from anywhere!!! I ordered alligator tracks and warm vanilla. Both flavors were phenomenal, the alligator tracks have forever changed my tastebuds, being a long time lover of moose tracks ice cream I had to give it a shot and now regular moose tracks will no longer cut it for me. The warm vanilla is literally just that, the warmest notes of cinnamon and vanilla that’ll make you want a shot of whiskey! I’m seriously thinking about making a small milkshake out of it with a shot of bourbon! Can’t wait to try out more flavors when I can afford to! Definitely a treat!!!! Can’t believe I’ve never heard of this place wish you guys the...
