Elope Bride — Local services in Lakeland

It's hard to put into words what an INCREDIBLE experience my MOH and I had at Elope Bride. Our stylist, Rebecca, was unbelievable. Walked in as a nervous stranger and left as a confident bride! I did not know what to expect & told myself that I wouldn't find the dress today; I just wanted to see what was out there. The back room was full of beautiful, AFFORDABLE dresses. Their most expensive dress (and there were only two of them at this price) was $2,000. My budget was $1,500 and I left with my absolute dream dress for $800. EIGHT HUNDRED?!?!? I want to cry just thinking about it! I tried in about 10 dresses and so many different veils (both fingertip length and cathedral)! I knew I found the one the SECOND I put it on and had the dress clipped. I have never felt more beautiful in my life. I wish I could live in this dress! Rebecca was so much fun, we were the only ones in the store! I got to do twirl tests, run tests, all of it. We had an absolute blast. I wish I could redo the whole day just so I can feel how I felt while trying on dresses. One of my favorite parts was being in the front room and hearing people shout from their cars telling me how beautiful the dress was. So freaking sweet.

Now, every time I pass Elope Bride while driving down S Florida Ave, I will look inside longingly to remember the amazing memories we made there. With that said... "highly recommend" is a massive understatement. Thank you Rebecca and Elope Bride,...

I said YES to the dress here at Elope! ❤️ I live in Lakeland and drive by this location daily. I’ve seen the dresses in the window and started following them on social media. I saw a few in their inventory that peaked my interest and thought it would be great to buy local. My bridesmaids are mostly out of state so I created a Teams meeting for them to “attend” the shopping event. Tiffany was fantastic. She gave me free rein to pick any dresses I wanted to try. She placed my computer in the perfect spot to allow my bridesmaids to see everything that was happening.

The very first dress I put on brought literal tears to my eyes. It fit, it checked all my boxes and it just felt like it was mine 🥺 Every dress after this dress was compared. Tiffany helped me zip, button, fluff each dress as I tried them on. She made suggestions and recommendations. When I came back to “the one” she added flowers and a veil…. I found my dress!!! 👗 ❤️

My experience at Elope was unfortunately the opposite of exciting and fun. I do appreciate they were able to get me a same day appointment. I provided my budget & they advised they might not have much in that range for me (I appreciate transparency!), however we did tell her we are flexible with the budget. This was my first time shopping for a dress, so while I was hoping to find one, I really just wanted to get an idea of what looks best on me. Every dress that she pulled was too small, so I'm not sure why she didn't help me size up. I just felt like overall she didn't really care, the vibe there was not very welcoming. It felt more like they cared about making a sale, rather than making a woman feel beautiful. This place might be great for smaller sizes, but if you're a bridal size 20, then might not be right for you, or I just went on a bad day.
