The name may be âLow Countryâ, but this is 100% a HIGH TIER shop with fantastic goods and amazing staff! Visiting antique shops is an obsession I didnât really know I had, but it was most solidified after coming here.
What a beautiful store, truly. There is so much to look at- some unique (I mean, they are antique so please forgive the obviousness, itâs still true) and really one of a kind furniture, various lamps and chandeliers, handmade jewelry, all sorts of knick knacks and beyond.
I had particular fun seeing just how many different versions and materials of candle stick holders they had. News flash, it was up in the double digits. On top of this, I thought for the most part they had reasonable prices too! Some of the furniture pieces were quite a bit spendier, but they were genuine antique pieces that were in pristine condition so it still seemed fair for them to ask higher prices of those.
And letâs not forget Miss Judy, the sweet, sweet sweet woman working behind the register! She was just a darling, and I was telling her my ideas of how to use a few things I purchased there and she mentioned how she loves when customers share with her their plans for the collectibles, and she even gave me a few fun ideas of other options in how to use them. So if you see Judy chat with her, sheâs great! She offered me a water right when I walked in too, I didnât need it but the sentiment still hit the same. One of my new...
Read moreAllyson has the PRETTIEST and most interesting antique/consignment/furniture shop in Lakeland. She has a great eye for the unique and unusual. I find it hard to just âwindow shopâ in her store. No matter my intentions when I go into the shop, I always end up finding a must have item of furniture or decor. And always at a great price! Iâve been inside most vintage /antique shops in lakeland. Low Country Vintage is, hands down, the top of the class. The owner Allyson has great taste and itâs apparent in the selections she makes to stock her beautiful shop. From Crystal chandeliers to mahogany dining tables to Ming dynasty pieces , this shop has it all.:. And then some more ! Itâs well worth a visit to spend time among the beauty and elegance of this beautiful...
Read moreWow...what a great shop! I can't believe a shop like this exists in Lakeland. Gorgeous vintage, antique and home decorating items at more-than-fair prices. The furniture, chandeliers and lamps are beautiful. The shop is tastefully decorated and items are "displayed", by that I mean, the merchandise isn't just thrown around like so many other antique shops. I didn't see any silly "collectibles". This shop has the real goods. Can't wait to go back in a week or two as it seems their stuff sells and they get new items pretty much daily. BTW, the shop owner is over-the-top nice, friendly and helpful. She really seems to value her customers. There are several other shops in this area of the city known as, "Dixieland", so it's worth the trip to...
