Lindo Lake County Park — Attraction in Lakeside

This is a great park. has ducks geese several other migratory birds. This is right next to the VFW your fishing there's a little gazebo Island and as you travel through the park just work out areas most people are friendly it also has a nice little skateboard park listen as well as tennis courts I've been going to this park most of my life there's not a lot of Rundown areas there's multiple places to park there's several dog bag dispensers. The new library and Rec area are very nice it's kind of early show my review of me feels like it's almost cookie cutter but it's not if you're looking to have a place where you can relax barbecue just take a break that's a nice park I don't see a lot of hooligans are people that are trying to make the place falling dirty like I do some other parks around here. When I do see around here, it is a nice little place where you can relax. And that's pretty nice for a town that's almost Under Siege in its own way Twilight most towns in places in America. If you don't know what I mean, then maybe where is ostrich in your blood. People should look at this park, really look. America had a great plan when they were about making things better for all. The problem is that most people can not see past their own nose. No other place gives so much opportunity and has so many people that resent it. It so easy to point their finger and say, "Look at them their bad" just to divert attention from what's really happening due to them. This park should be an example of how things were...

Not sure why this shows on google maps as on wildcat canyon drive. there is NO PARK here. we've hiked stelzer and oak oasis, and the El Cajon mtn trailhead across the street from Oak Oasis shows up. I haven't figured out whether someone confused Lakeside County park, which if you google it, is in NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, in Lakeside County. This is the city of Lakeside. there is Lindo Lake county park at the center of Lakeside. you can see this on the san diego county parks map. Oddly, the reviewer who posted the picture seem to be a korean who lives in the UK. The picture isn't a park facility but someone's fenced home. Other people have put vague 'reviews' of the place, apparently without much thought involved. I've tried to get google to fix this by submitting corrections, but to no avail. Just be aware, if you want to go to 'lakeside country park, in San Diego county', it DOES NOT EXIST, despite a huge green segment on the map. I'd suggest visiting Stelzer instead or Oak Oasis, also Audobon has the huge 'Silverwood preserve' on wildcat canyon, 4000 acres? see their website but only open sundays. well maintained trails and very pristine. ...

There's a lot to do at Lindo Lake Park In Lakeside, CA. Take a picnic or with you they have a few standing bbq's or take your own and pick a table, there's plenty. Feed the many species of birds. I usually stop at the santee feed shop and pick up a large bag of duck, geese food to take with us. You may need more depending on how many people are going. I taught my 5 year old granddaughter, since she was 4, how to hand feed them. She has A LOT OF FUN with that! Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and go for a walk along the walking path and use their outside gym located by the public skate park. Yep! Take the skate boards & scooters. I would recommend protective gear as well. There are 2 clean and maintained play areas for the littles' and a larger swing set for bigger kids. You can even reserve spaces for special events.
