This was a experience of a life time. I am a long time hunter with zero bow hunting or archery experience. I mean none. To say I was nervous walking in to the Bow and Arrow Shop is a true understatement. All my anticipation and fear was quickly put aside when I entered. I was promptly welcomed in and even after expressing that I was a hopeful archer with no experience they quickly set up three bows for me to try. While trying the bows I was educated and schooled on technique and form. When I was done trying the bows they helped me select the best bow for my experience and needs with the goal of having a bow that I could grow with. Absolutely no pressure to buy.....in fact I had to say yes I want to move forward with the purchase. Bruce set up my bow and spent over two hours getting it right for me and again gave me additional pointers on shooting. He was not going to allow me to set up for failure. Since that purchase I was instructed to bring the bow back for tuning again after 150 arrows. They tuned the bow again at no cost and watched me shoot again......giving more pointers and encouragement. These guys are the best. My bride showed interest in archery and we purchased a bow for her yestereday. Ernest took so much time with her getting her set up with the proper entry level bow. He must have had her shoot 30 arrows helping her with her form. I can not express how grateful I am for that. I hope this is something we can do together and she was so excited when we left the store. If you want to have a super experience by people that love the sport and have deep knowledge of archery and hunting I highly recommend this establishment. They want you to succeed and they want to promote the sport. They have a customer for life with me and my wife. Thank you so much I guarantee you will have a positive experience. It was like walking into CHEERS (I expected someone to yell out NORM). They are friendly and knowledgeable no matter what your experience level. I am fresh into archery and what I mean, I've never shot a bow before EVER. The entire staff understands how important it is to allow you pickup a bow and learn to shoot it properly so they're not there just trying to sell you random stuff.

Allow me to explain my VERY POSITIVE EXPERIECE. As I walked in, they greeted me and not one bit did they ever acted better than anyone. I walked in with a very slight peek of interest of learning archery the right way (instead of going a big box store buying something random) and they went above and beyond with crazy amount of patience (as long as you're willing to learn). Bruce literally showed me all different types of bows from low priced, mid-range to high end bows by allowing me to shoot every type of bow he had in the store so that I understand how each type of bow shoots and what is best suited for me. He watched my form and taught me how to properly hold a bow with the correct stance (still learning and working on it) so that I can enjoy the proper bow. He's not interested in selling you the top of the line to every customer, he's there to give everyone the chance to enjoy the world of archery the correct way and what is properly suited for you. I had and asked just about all the dumb silly questions and not once did anyone made me feel dumb for it.

Because of everyone there graciously taught me the correct way of buying my first bow, my interest for archery is now at 1000% vs just a thought of it. Entire staff does it all as well so if you need servicing of any kind on your bow they will do it as well as custom cut arrows to YOU. I can't wait to dive deep into this sport now and I absolutely will give my business to Bruce and his staff so...

These guys are the people to see when it comes to bows. Novice or experienced these guys will help you out. I’m in an awkward position as my wife started bow hunting when she was 14! Where I have never bow hunted in my life. So I’ve shot my wife’s bow a little, but not too much. I came into the shop, talked with the guys and explained my situation. They pulled a couple bows off the wall, got them set up for my draw length and weight and let me shoot them. They let me try 2 different styles of releases. They spent so much time with me and explained everything in such great detail I feel comfortable making a purchase. I have an appointment to go back in this week and I’m going to shoot a few more bows and make my final decision on which one I want. I was in the store today for probably 2-3 hours and these guys were awesome. I 100% recommend them to anyone. I cannot explain the level of customers service I had in this store on a busy Saturday. I talked to all 4 employees that were in the store and they were all equally great. Even regular customers who came in, the way they interacted with the staff was awesome. Everyone was comfortable and having a good time. Even my wife, who is a very experienced bow hunter said this was the best archery shop she’s ever been too.
