Deli Belly — Restaurant in California

Do not order online. I’ve ordered online 3 times over last year and each time there was an issue getting my order. Today I submitted my order, waited 20 mins for the pick up time then drove to the restaurant on my lunch break to pick up my sandwich. They said they didn’t have my order then found it printed off below the desk. I told them I was on my lunch break and I either needed my sandwich quickly or a refund. I was told I needed to contact someone else for a refund. Then she went on to say she didn’t know why people order from eat street because they don’t get alerted when those orders are submitted. When I googled Deli Belly and clicked order online this is where it automatically takes you. If you are having issues with a platform that you subscribe to, please stop subscribing to that platform. Don’t act like your customers have done something wrong. In the end she made my sandwich and I left. Unfortunately she didn’t make the sandwich correctly, I asked for no tomatoes, which was a huge bummer when it took 30 minutes from ordering to actually...

As, I usually frequent this spot but, on today 04/18/22, I had thee most rude, disrespectful, immature customer service by on of the young, high school adolescents that seem to not care about her sandwich making job and just cared to argue and correct me and continued to antagonize the suituation of a simple sandwich having ordered. One Ive ordered multiple times, the same way. This is poor lower then standard how managers should allow their representatives to conduct themselves at this location. I would of never expected this from this location, but today is one day that , I will allow the community to know ⚠️BEWARE⚠️, if you get this person, your service won't be worth your money, time or energy spent at this location. Ugh! Kicking myself for not reading the reviews first. So my first time trying this place. From the outside it looks like it might be a good deli experience. Enter and the two employees are super nice. Great customer service (hence the 2 stars). I ordered a Reuben on rye and a vegetarian Avocado with alfalfa sprouts. The Reuben was on seeded toasted rye. It was okay but not the best. I’m going to stick to Mary’s donuts for my Reuben sandwiches. The avocado though? Was the worst sandwich I have ever had. Red wine vinegar soggy bread. It was all wrong. I only ate half of each sandwich and gave the other halves to my friend and his son. He told me later “by the way that vegi sandwich was the nastiest sandwich my son ever tasted” we had a good laugh but I did tell him it was gross before I gave it to him LOL In all seriousness though, the price I paid was a waste of my money.
