EDIT: Regardless of how nice these folks are (and they are very nice no doubt!) it does not negate my review about the product/service they are offering. They state it's an "arcade" also, which is what my review is based on, and why I went. Video arcade system selection. Video games. Agreed they do have some 80s games cabs, but when Hang On arcade (motorcycle game) is just handlebars coming from an UPRIGHT cabinet (no actual seated bike like Hang On is remembered for) that's an issue. This shouldn't just be for the kids of the 80s, or really young kids today who don't really care what they play on. This should include great games from the 90s when video gaming REALLY took off. My review stands 100%. If they do happen to expand their video arcade selection, I will revisit and maybe change my review. But until then no. If you're an arcade gamer and are tempted by this place, take it from another arcade gamer and find somewhere else for now or you'll be disappointed like my friends and myself were. Folks at Axecadia, at least provide an "Arcade system Games List" somewhere online as is the standard for anything to do with video arcades. So gamers can see for themselves if there is a game there, worth playing for them or their buddies.
And to the guy saying NOT to listen to me... You just proved my point by posting pictures of pinball machines and Mario Kart GP Arcade.
Arcade game selection is POOR. The best they have on offer is Mario Kart GP Arcade, and even then you probably have Mario Kart at home. No fighting game staples, or multi select machines. Honestly mostly pinball pinball pinball. This isn't the 60s or 70s. Get a better selection of 90s fighters or early 2000s CAPCOM games at least. If you aren't into the lounge vibe, pinball, or axe throwing then this "cade" is a must avoid at all costs. Just a bunch of loud noisy machines thrown together probably sourced from a single company. Better off taking a further drive to somewhere with...
Read moreBeen here multiple times now. Always a great family atmosphere. They just added Rampart too which unlocked some great childhood memories. They have multiple premium pinball machines and some classics as well as a bunch of video cabinets. My brother and I like to meet up every other Sunday to have a gaming day. My son and my niece never get bored and always look forward to it. The owners are a very nice family always making sure the environment is great for all ages. Great prices on snacks and drinks and the machines aren't price gouging either. If you have any issues with a game eating your coin or a hardware issue, the owners are right on top of it. Today the trackball went out on Rampart. The owner immediately took it apart, fixed it, and gave us two free plays for the trouble. The axe throwing lanes are very nice and they also have board game nights if you're into that. All in all a great place for all ages and one I'm very happy is right around the...
Read moreThe owners are probably the most real people you'll find when going into a business. they're friendly and take care of everything personally with everyone. the place is always kept clean along with the machines always kept working and clean and haven't had a problem with any of them and I've gone there countless times.
it's not expensive to go there only costing a quarter to a dollar to use the machines just like old arcades.
they allow outside food which most places you find don't allow that which is great for meeting up with people and having a good time.
and their drinks and refreshments are cheap compared to most places I've been with a good drink only costing me 2$. when I go to other places to get that same drink it could cost me 3+.
overall just a great place to visit for any occasion. I recommend this place to everyone I meet and hope it sees more people...
