Villa Milano — Restaurant in Lapeer

What can I say when I left I could speak Italian! It's that good!!

In all seriousness guys this place Is very good. Nice clean atmosphere with Italian music and the like. The food was excellent! Wife had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and I had Bolognese three cheese ravioli with bread sticks and we both had a Caesar salad. EVERYTHING was amazing! Tasteful and cooked right! Service was on point. This is how to open a new establishment unlike Mexico lindo in lapeer. Blah.

This place was transformed from a bar and grill (vinyl) to a Italian restraunt and they killed it. You can tell time and energy went into a killer small but delicious menu and created atmosphere that was done correctly and looks good. We will be back for sure. Nice job! Food was amazing. My wife said she would go here over olive garden....

This was my first time eating in since the change. We have ordered pizza here when vinyl and Villa Milano which was great. My friend ordered the arancini which she felt were overcooked and dry. Also had the meat ravioli which she said was great. She had the Italian wedding soup which she said was amazing. I ordered the cheese bread which was amazing. I also ordered the spaghetti with a meatball which was overcooked, not aldente, sauce flavor was good but there was a bunch of liquid in the bottom of the bowl as if the pasta wasn’t drained well. My bill alone was $ 30 which I feel is a lot for one person. It did come with salad which was very fresh and the ranch dressing was good. I would probably try it again. Not a place to have a funeral luncheon. We had a group of 75-100 people (let them know ahead of time) and had everything planned. We arrived to not enough seating. My family was told to only sit on one side of the restaurant and save the rest for “customers” even though they didn’t have enough seating. They had one waitress on staff and one bartender for 100 people. We had a buffet lunch and ordered drinks etc. It wasn’t like we were sitting doing nothing and taking up space. They kicked us out to “prepare for dinner” for their customers. Customer service was sub par… I would’ve expected more empathy and compassion especially when hosting funeral luncheons. We will...
