I enrolled for a 3 month contract starting October 2024. In November 2024 my son was diagnosed with a medical condition and I chose to stop utilizing childcare and for my husband and myself to be the only caregivers for my son since we needed to be monitoring his symptoms. Due to only us caring for my infant, we started working opposite shifts. With this I have no time to be attending the gym. I never had time to show up to cancel my contract. On December 2nd Coach Joel messaged me saying he was worried that I hadnât been in and wanted to see when we could meet to discuss getting back into the workout routine. I responded to him saying I was currently going through a medical emergency with my son hence why I could no longer attend the gym. I asked him for info on who I could call or email to cancel my contract and I got no response. 2 months later after getting back into town from one of my sons exams, I ask my husband to stop at the gym so I could request my cancelation. Because it has to be a ârequest.â I fill out the paperwork and âAssistant Manager Melâ texts me the following day saying sheâs too busy to call me to discuss but that sheâll call the next day. She calls the next day and I couldnât answer because itâs time for me to take care of my child. I donât have my phone stuck on me. She texts that sheâll call the next day. Today, Mel finally was able to get in contact with me and she requests paperwork from my Dr saying I canât do any physical activity. She completely ignored the fact that my infant is ill and I canât attend because Iâm spending time caring for him. All of this has been very improper and extremely unprofessional. First the coach not responding to me after Iâm claiming I have an emergency and need to cancel. Then Mel asking for medical documentation. Mind you, ever since I enrolled, I only went to the gym 1 week. Iâve been donating $135 for a service that is of no use. Very disappointed with this gym and their staff. I had to call my bank and change my card so they stop getting my donations....
Read moreI've been to other gym such as Golds Gym, Olympus, Rock fitness, Gunnys BootCamp, 9 Rounds but none can compare to the experience and fun I have here at Laredo Bodify Functional Fitness. I was never able to run even half a mile without feeling like I was about to pass-out or need oxygen to within my first 7 months joining Bodify back in 2023 I was able to complete 3 things of my bucket list. My first time doing a Spartan Sprint 5K really made me feel a sense of accomplishment and high self esteem. The training for Spartan really helped me get stronger physically, mentally and emotionally. I've made great friends I have come to see as family since Joining March 2023. May 2023 I successfully completed my first Spartan Sprint 5K in Austin, Texas and had such fun the entire time!! Then I joined the next training class for Dallas 2023 and the inspirational talks and support that I can do hard sh*t had me take the leap and sign for a Trifecta Weekend October 2023. Completing a Beast 21K, Super 10K, and Sprint 5K all in two days was the challenge that made me have a new mindset on life. Moving afterwards I became addicted and felt the challenge to sign up for my first Ultra in October 2024! Completing that was something I never thought I could ever accomplish but with the help and motivation from coaches and peers in the gym, we did it as a family and supported each other's journey to getting to that finish line. You want to make a change in your life and see what your body is actually capable of conquering, Bodify is the place to go. The environment truly is very welcoming and the people and coaches can really change your frowns to smiles and have a great time working out. Seeing the way my body has changed and the strength to lift what I am now has never been done in all my years of life. I'm so beyond proud to be a Spartan and now competing to do my second Hyrox March 2025! #DHS...
Read moreGerardo likes likes Sports Performance Program We took him there so he could try something different. He used to play soccer but he would go because we would take him not because he liked it. Right now we've seen a change in him in a good way. Comes Monday he is happy to go to class without us telling him he has to go, then he asks why he has to wait until Thursday đ. He likes coach Eric "Mom coach Eric is cool and he has cool music". This week he came from school telling us that he was able to run faster and do some exercises in PE class faster than he used to. Ohhh and he liked that the girls from front desk asked him how he wanted to be called. "Gerardo or Jerry". We like that Coach Eric gives advice to the kids on eating good things, doing good in school and at home â€ïž. Thank you...
