U.S. Computer Corporation — Attraction in Largo

A couple of weeks ago I decided to start shopping for a new computer. My current one was starting to die (USB slots dying, etc...). A few years ago my brother had gone to US Computers Corp, Largo, FL. He contacted Jeff (owner), requesting a fresh new "nonproprietary" custom built machine. Brother requested a comprehensive "Wishlist" of components. Jeff is a strong, savvy computer technician. Within a couple of weeks Jeff gathered requested components, installed my brothers "Dream Machine." Only once did my brother have to bring his machine back. This was due to an internal DVD Blu-Ray Player that for unknown reason malfunctioned. Jeff, replaced and quickly re-installed (at no additional cost). My brother has been extremely happy. Based the aforementioned my brother wholeheartedly advised to contact Jeff for my new "Dream Machine!" I contacted Jeff with my "Wishlist. Jeff began gathering requested components. Even keeping me advised on my need for a computer box with an "Internal DVD Player Slot." He had to shop around and have one shipped. I guess I'm still "Old School" wanting this. NOTE: Jeff has a large inventory of computer boxes & equipment in his shop. As you know, currently a lot of computers no longer have "Internal DVD Players." They now use "External." Jeff phoned, relating my new machine was ready to be picked up. Arraignments & time was made for the following morning. Jeff did a thoughtful and very professional offer. Jeff related he would set my machine up, have it powered and take the time to show and answer any questions I may have. It was GREAT! Jeff even let me load my AOL, Norton Anti-Virus & YouTube before leaving the shop. In this day and age trust is hard to find. Jeff, has earned my trust. I am extremely happy and would recommend him and shop to anybody looking for a new machine,...

I came in with no computer experience what so ever, and Jeff helped me to understand more in 5 minutes, than any YouTube video.

I trust he CARES. That's so rare in service businesses.

I came in with a broken laptop, and he not only offered to fix the laptop but explained to me WHY it was malfunctioning.

I then asked for a computer buying consult and he gave me the nuances to my specific situation that NO YouTube video will ever do, because YouTubers are mostly incentivized to point out the positive aspects.

Whereas Jeff didn't put money first, he showed me he could potentially fix the issue with the laptop and save me the computer build.

But I trust his expertise so much because he was honest, and now I want my computer built by their company!

That's service. That's great business.

I found the business by accident, getting lost going to Munchkin town.

I'm so glad we made that wrong turn!!

To anyone reading reviews, understand how RARE it is for service businesses to be transparent and honest.

That alone ranks this business 5 stars.

I haven't even gotten the service completed yet, and I'm this enthusiastic about the business.

If you're reading this review, you can stop whatever you're doing and go with U.S. Computer Corporation. I am a computer saavy person, I run my own side hustle and sometimes need assistance from local computer stores.

Nathan, the guy I had the PLEASURE of working with, is the real deal. He knows his stuff, can talk about computers very professionally but relay the details in layman's terms so that anybody can understand.

He sold me some thermal paste I needed in a pinch, a motherboard that was in perfect working condition, and even helped me troubleshoot my CPU and CPU Cooler after a bad CPU installation.

The store has everything you need. Monitors, Desktop, Laptops, Peripherals, and most importantly, a knowledgeable and friendly person to assist with your troubles. In the COVID world we are currently in, trust me, good customer service and a willingness to do the job has been lost. But not here, and especially not with Nathan. A good dude through and through.
