I recently relocated from Alaska to Las Vegas with my 7-month-old micro-mini Bernedoodle, Crouton, and the temperature change hit him hard. In dire need of professional grooming, I stumbled upon Barks and Bubbles Grooming, and it was a game-changer for both Crouton and me. Booking a same-day appointment, I was greeted by a receptionist who was not only polite but also took the time to address all my queries, instantly putting me at ease. However, coming from a place where good groomers have waitlists of months, my expectations were cautiously optimistic. Before our appointment, I scoured through every review platform possible, scrutinizing each review, especially the negative ones. But despite my reservations, I decided to proceed. And boy, am I glad I did! Shawna, the groomer, was a revelation. Despite Crouton's disheveled appearance, she approached the situation with unwavering patience and professionalism. After hearing our story, she promised to give him the care he needed, and she delivered beyond expectations. The transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Shawna's expertise, coupled with her kindness and support, left me in tears of joy. Crouton emerged looking like a whole new dog, and I couldn't be more grateful. Shawna isn't just a groomer; she's a magician who works wonders with pets and touches the hearts of worried pet parents like myself. She has earned a lifelong customer in us, and I can't thank her enough for her exceptional service. To anyone hesitant about booking an appointment, I say this: don't judge a book by its cover, or in this case, by a few negative reviews. Barks and Bubbles Grooming, and especially Shawna, have won me over completely. I've attached Crouton's before and after pictures for you to witness the magic yourself. Thank you, Shawna, and thank you, Barks and Bubbles Grooming, for restoring my faith in professional pet care!

UPDATE: YEARS LATER, we are still driving across town to bring our fur babies to Oliver at Barks and Bubbles.. We have since lost our Yorkie and Gained a new member of the pack, who absolutely loves Barks and Bubbles as well! So happy we found them! We live near Henderson (kind of far from Barks and Bubbles)šŸ˜ž so we scheduled with Banksy Dog near our house instead. We specifically made sure Banksy Dog could keep the dogs a few hours while our house was being professionally deep cleaned. We booked 10 days in advance to secure this plan. Banksy Dog really let us down when they waited until 2 days before hand to cancel on us through a text message. I called around my side of town and no one was able to squeeze us in for the same price. I called Barks and Bubbles and they were so happy to move some stuff around and squeeze us in for an even better price! When we dropped the dogs off the groomers we're so happy to meet them and made our dogs so comfortable. When we picked our pups up I was in absolute awe! My dogs looked, smelled and behaved amazing! Their cuts were perfect, their nails were really nicely done and they teeth were actually clean! I could tell they were treated with so much care. My 100 lb dog has a callus on her elbow that gets cut and bleeds for days everytime she gets groomed, but not only did her callus look clean and unscathed when we picked her up, her groomer also gave us a cream for it and educated us a bit on itā¤ļø. My dogs were happy like there were at home and that is really priceless. They weren't panting and stressing to leave like most other places they've been groomed. I will be driving across town to have my dogs cared for and loved by Barks and Bubbles from now on. Without a doubt, they have won us over!

I had a recommended this place from my neighbors. The first time when I went there, they are so nice and high customer service. The guy took care my dog , he did a great job, kindness, understanding, and friendly. My dog went home and played with my neighbor dog very good, no injuries. -then, I tried to get back. I made appointment for my puppy before Easter with grooming, bath and trim the nails. But I came there, they said , I made appointment with ā€œbathā€ only ! . I waited for a week just do the spa for my puppy, but I couldn’t make it. - so, I tried once more time with 3 dogs at this spa. I havent no idea, what happend with my dog when i pick them up. i busied with 3 dogs and gave a good TIP, one small dog trim the hair but it doesnt amooth, whrn i hold him to my car, a lot of his hair on my clothes, the short hair from the trim. another dog got injuries with her neck and her chest, i still the line from the leash too tigh on her chest . i checked her once time, she pained, an run away, hide herslef behide the bed and didnt allow me touch her anymore. i tried to call them and talked with tge groomer, she explain she didnt do anything, maybe my dogs come to spa the first time. they went to spa a hundred tume, but the first time they have injuries. the groomer is Carol, she talked she dont want to take care my dogs anymore, but honestly, i dont get back this salon anymore. I paid $175 for 2 dogs grooming and one dog trim the hair (the last time they charged me just $40), and didnt do a good job. i dont recommend this salon , you can go another salon with another kindly groomer for your pets.

UPDATE: I was told today (by the same front desk person that shut the door in my face during open hours) that they will not be able to service my (2) dogs if I don’t take my precious post down. Well I guess I’ll be finding a new place to trim their nails since I’m not gonna take down my previous post about how rude the front desk person was. Especially after also telling me that she stayed after hours to help me that day, which makes absolutely no sense as she didn’t do anything other than tell me there’s no one there for a nail trim during open hours and shit the door in my face. Not very helpful. It’s weird how after my post suddenly there’s a new notice on the counter saying walk in nail trims end at 3:30pm, seems like maybe those hours were updated to keep certain people out of their office. You’ve trimmed there nails since then twice without issues and today you decide I have to take the post down? Weird. But I see that I’m not the only one who has had issues with the person at the front desk. I know there where more people who had posted about similar issues that you where able to bully into removing their post, but I’d rather find another place to trim my dogs nails that be bullied by you. Thanks but no thanks. Again huge thank you to the staff doing to grooming in the back, you guys are awesome! The new person out front had a huge attitude problem and I agree with Rebecca’s post if she decided she has a problem with you she is the rudest person and a real…

Anyway, previous post below:

To be honest this place is great and does great work, however the new person manning the front desk is not great. She had the front door locked at 4:15pm and said there was no one there to do a nail trim on my (2) dogs. Their hours say they are there and open until 5pm and I’ve taken my dogs there at the same time multiple times before without issue, but I guess with the new person at the front desk it’s an issue. I don’t get off work until 3:30p which makes it hard to pick up the dogs and get them there before 5p much less 4p. If they are going to block the doors at 4 they should consider changing their hours online and on their door to closing at 4p instead of 5p.

But the staff that works with the dogs are wonderful and do an awesome job! So 5 stars for those guys. This 2 star is for the new front...

I took my cat to Barks and Bubbles for grooming after being assured that the groomer had over a decade of experience with cats. I typically stay during grooming appointments, but I trusted that she would be in good hands. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

During her bath, she became scared and tried to escape, injuring her rear nails so badly that they were broken and bleeding. I was only informed of this when I arrived to pick her up, and the explanation felt rushed and unclear. No guidance was given on whether she needed veterinary care, leaving me uncertain about how serious her injuries were.

To add to my disappointment, her carrier was returned to me completely covered in fur. When I asked if they could clean it off, I was told they had no tools like a lint roller to do so. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating, especially after I had just had my car cleaned.

After my visit, I received a text asking for feedback. I immediately requested a call from a manager to discuss what had happened, but instead of a response, I was sent a waiver that should have been provided before the appointment. I then sent a detailed email a few days later with no response for two weeks. When I followed up by phone, I was basically told they had read my email but had no interest in addressing my concerns.

What’s even more concerning is that I was offered $5 off my next visit in exchange for a positive review. This raises serious doubts about the authenticity of their online ratings.

This experience left me extremely disappointed. Not only was my cat injured, but the lack of accountability and customer service makes it clear that they do not prioritize the well-being of the animals in their care. I cannot recommend...
