UPDATE: I was told today (by the same front desk person that shut the door in my face during open hours) that they will not be able to service my (2) dogs if I donāt take my precious post down. Well I guess Iāll be finding a new place to trim their nails since Iām not gonna take down my previous post about how rude the front desk person was. Especially after also telling me that she stayed after hours to help me that day, which makes absolutely no sense as she didnāt do anything other than tell me thereās no one there for a nail trim during open hours and shit the door in my face. Not very helpful. Itās weird how after my post suddenly thereās a new notice on the counter saying walk in nail trims end at 3:30pm, seems like maybe those hours were updated to keep certain people out of their office. Youāve trimmed there nails since then twice without issues and today you decide I have to take the post down? Weird. But I see that Iām not the only one who has had issues with the person at the front desk. I know there where more people who had posted about similar issues that you where able to bully into removing their post, but Iād rather find another place to trim my dogs nails that be bullied by you. Thanks but no thanks. Again huge thank you to the staff doing to grooming in the back, you guys are awesome! The new person out front had a huge attitude problem and I agree with Rebeccaās post if she decided she has a problem with you she is the rudest person and a realā¦
Anyway, previous post below:
To be honest this place is great and does great work, however the new person manning the front desk is not great. She had the front door locked at 4:15pm and said there was no one there to do a nail trim on my (2) dogs. Their hours say they are there and open until 5pm and Iāve taken my dogs there at the same time multiple times before without issue, but I guess with the new person at the front desk itās an issue. I donāt get off work until 3:30p which makes it hard to pick up the dogs and get them there before 5p much less 4p. If they are going to block the doors at 4 they should consider changing their hours online and on their door to closing at 4p instead of 5p.
But the staff that works with the dogs are wonderful and do an awesome job! So 5 stars for those guys. This 2 star is for the new front...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently relocated from Alaska to Las Vegas with my 7-month-old micro-mini Bernedoodle, Crouton, and the temperature change hit him hard. In dire need of professional grooming, I stumbled upon Barks and Bubbles Grooming, and it was a game-changer for both Crouton and me.
Booking a same-day appointment, I was greeted by a receptionist who was not only polite but also took the time to address all my queries, instantly putting me at ease. However, coming from a place where good groomers have waitlists of months, my expectations were cautiously optimistic.
Before our appointment, I scoured through every review platform possible, scrutinizing each review, especially the negative ones. But despite my reservations, I decided to proceed. And boy, am I glad I did!
Shawna, the groomer, was a revelation. Despite Crouton's disheveled appearance, she approached the situation with unwavering patience and professionalism. After hearing our story, she promised to give him the care he needed, and she delivered beyond expectations.
The transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Shawna's expertise, coupled with her kindness and support, left me in tears of joy. Crouton emerged looking like a whole new dog, and I couldn't be more grateful.
Shawna isn't just a groomer; she's a magician who works wonders with pets and touches the hearts of worried pet parents like myself. She has earned a lifelong customer in us, and I can't thank her enough for her exceptional service.
To anyone hesitant about booking an appointment, I say this: don't judge a book by its cover, or in this case, by a few negative reviews. Barks and Bubbles Grooming, and especially Shawna, have won me over completely. I've attached Crouton's before and after pictures for you to witness the magic yourself.
Thank you, Shawna, and thank you, Barks and Bubbles Grooming, for restoring my faith in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my cat to Barks and Bubbles for grooming after being assured that the groomer had over a decade of experience with cats. I typically stay during grooming appointments, but I trusted that she would be in good hands. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
During her bath, she became scared and tried to escape, injuring her rear nails so badly that they were broken and bleeding. I was only informed of this when I arrived to pick her up, and the explanation felt rushed and unclear. No guidance was given on whether she needed veterinary care, leaving me uncertain about how serious her injuries were.
To add to my disappointment, her carrier was returned to me completely covered in fur. When I asked if they could clean it off, I was told they had no tools like a lint roller to do so. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating, especially after I had just had my car cleaned.
After my visit, I received a text asking for feedback. I immediately requested a call from a manager to discuss what had happened, but instead of a response, I was sent a waiver that should have been provided before the appointment. I then sent a detailed email a few days later with no response for two weeks. When I followed up by phone, I was basically told they had read my email but had no interest in addressing my concerns.
Whatās even more concerning is that I was offered $5 off my next visit in exchange for a positive review. This raises serious doubts about the authenticity of their online ratings.
This experience left me extremely disappointed. Not only was my cat injured, but the lack of accountability and customer service makes it clear that they do not prioritize the well-being of the animals in their care. I cannot recommend...
