Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Platos de 5 tacos (#2) and Compita Nachos with Birria. The tacos were delicious overall! The cabeza was tender and flavorful but the tripas were boiled and a bit queasy as they weren't cleaned well. The nachos were generous in serving size but the shredded beef was inconsistent as some pieces were quite dry.

Service: 2/5 - not sure if language issue or the cashier just didn't care. After we ordered but before we paid, I realized that the cost was higher than expected and was trying to figure out why it's almost a $2.50 difference. We finally figured out that we ordered a Birria Nachos (#10) but he rung it up as a Compita Nacho (#18) with Birria (shredded beef). We tried to explain that we wanted number 10 and showed him a picture of the menu. He walked around the cash register and looked at the menu as well. When he went back to the cash register, he took the next guest. When he was done with the guest, he just asked if we wanted to order or not. If there's no difference between the two items, they should remove the cheaper one to prevent communication issues again.

Ambiance: 4/5 - looks like the store was recently repainted and updated but some older signs are still hanging up. The tables and salsa bar could use some wiping though.

Value for price: 3/5 - decent food at a slightly higher price point compared to other shops we recently visited. Unfortunately, the price difference for the nachos soured our visit immediately. Do note they only called order numbers in Spanish so brush up on your...

I purchased 8 tacos but they forgot 2 of them. Extremely annoying and disappointed especially because I literally waited 30 min for my order. They don't pick up their phone either. I called multiple times before heading there to avoid waiting in person, no one picked up or it was a busy signal. Once I got home, I found out they only gave me 6 tacos. I tried calling to inform them but they didn't pick up the phone obviously. I also live far from the restaurant (just happened to be in the area for something else), so it's not feasible for me to just go and get my food.

Tacos are very small too. I know in this economy folks want to buy cheapish/affordable tacos. But remember: you get what you pay for. My partner got a tripe (tripa) taco and she couldn't eat it after 1 bite. Said it was hard and grainy, almost like there was dirt inside. And mind you, we both love tripe and know what tripe...

My husband and I wanted a quick meal near our home, so I suggested we go here. Big mistake. I had been a few times in the past and was satisfied those times. This time was a terrible exception. I felt awful for suggesting it, because my husband's carne asada was so dry and flavorless that he couldn't even bring himself to eat it. Our beans tasted like they head just been poured out of a can, the rice tasted like it had been leftover from the day before, and neither were not even very warm. And to add insult to injury, it wasn't exactly a cheap meal. Our money would've been better spent on groceries that would allow us to cook a far better meal for ourselves and our three children. I won't be back, and I will never refer another person here again. I'd rather drive 15 minutes away for better and more affordable food than visit this sub par establishment that's walking distance...

Absolutely exceptional. I read about this place on Reddit as I was looking for good authentic tacos and this company was recommended. There are a few around town and we stopped at this one because it was most convenient for us after a hike in red rock canyon. We order tacos (in order of most deliciousness: asado, chicken, and El pastor competing for first place and carnitas last personally I wouldn’t order them) all without onion. We also tried one quesabirra which was fantastic but the tacos still win. We washed it all down with Jurritos lime and pineapple, pineapple hands down the best. Service is fine, they are warm and you can order in English but Spanish is better. Cash is king here. The atmosphere is basic, cantina style, which I think is perfect. Absolute must stop if in vegas.

Hey guys im finally back in Vegas and guess where I ate first??? My all time favourite authentic Mexican place. The simplest steak quesadilla you could ever find but the most flavourful and the freshest ingredients you could ever hope for. This place has been my favourite for over 10yrs and i have never found anything in Canada that even comes close to this taste. It’s doesn’t have all that extra condiments to make it look a lot or thick, it doesn’t need any of those add ons. The quesadilla is just really loaded with steak slices, delicious cheese and vegetables. They are served with a small salad and fresh avocado slices. It also comes with a spicy and a tangy sauce and some lime that even elevates the flavours further. Highly recommended!
