Freedom Park: a huge regional park...but do yourself a favor... Stay until dark...watch the sunset and then the park lights up. Las Vegas is hot! The trails, fields, everything is open late with great lighting!

The soccerfields both artificial and grass turf. the field of Dreams! A huge softball facility where each field is a replica of famous baseball parks... Doger stadium, Wrigley field... An amazing softball venue complete with snack bar.. Beverage bar.. Etc.

It has a large public swimming pool with slide and cabanas, picnic tables etc. There is a huge skate park, children's play slide and climb area that is shaded from the sun under huge shade canopies.

Frisbee 9 hole golf course. Walking biking paved concrete walkways. Large covered group picnic areas as well as single table picnic sites. Basketball hoops... Large area for bike rodeos... Its an amazing regional facility with boccee ball, horseshoes you name it. Today there were plenty of sports, familys, excersise groups and digs and kids... Its a wonderful park in a needed area where there is not a lot of recreation opportunities.

Sunsets are beautiful here... Stays open late with bright field lighting wich illuminates the entire park. Plenty of convienient parking and handicap parking! served by...

This was my High School park from 2005 to 2007, I just wish we could've had the awesome skatepark that this younger kids have now. Back then it was just a few ramps and a rail, and now there is a freaking pool where you can drop in! Gosh I wish I could've had all of this cool features back then when I used to skate my butt off after school hours, maybe I could've been a better skater in some aspects. Remember dude, if you're reading this... if You're skating on this park, dude for my sake Skate as much as you can now that you're young and your bones dont hurt as bad when you have a fall... trust me, it will hurt way more later when You're older, your bones get brittle as hell compared to the flexy plastic bones you have in Middle and High School, so do me a favor and do a trick or two for this old skater that's now to fat to keep being...

this is a beautiful Park the park maintenance Crews do a beautiful job of keeping the spark in running order in the bathrooms clean. It's a great place to be alone or to be with that special person or family there's enough room there everybody can be happy. They have kids soccer leagues and tournaments and they have baseball leagues from small children all the way up to grown ups. you can have company picnics there where you rent a space she she doesn't bother anybody else cuz there's lots of room. The only downside of this park is the marshals that Patrol this park. They are the law in this park. if they're having a bad day you may have a bad day. you can be sitting there drinking a beer not bothering anyone, they can write you a citation for that to my surprise...

It's okay I guess, my daughter likes to go because its close to our house, but I personally think the kids are vulgar and they try to boss the smaller kids around. Tonight I witnessed a 7 yr old girl screaming At and belittling two younger ones, about 4 years old and she was trying to force them to do ugly things and I actually stepped in and told her to stop and explained to the younger ones that they didn't have to listen to her, that she was bullying them,

I really don’t understand what the part of Park maintenance is about if you guys never clean up the skate parks every single skate park in north Las Vegas has trash in the bowls and in the skateable areas you guys never come in the skate park you just walk around and dump the trash cans This is how the park looks every morning when I get here also there was a dead cat here this morning!

It's okay for a park, I guess. The plus, it's near the new library on Bonanza, but there wasn't too much going on at this park. I guess it's quiet and peaceful and that's good. I only saw one homeless guy walking around. What wasn't great was it doesn't have much businesses around the area and it has a school down the street.
