I have my gym membership here for 1 year now. I love the smoothies for myself and my kids. They really are amazing and they help with my recovery everytime. I loved the atmosphere up until a couple months ago. I believe they hired a few new people, some of which have been very nice and I love the service they provide. I have also encounter the other new employees that have recently been hired. 2 girls that work around the time I come to the gym. My routine on Wed is 12pm to 2pm. I usually order my kids and myself smoothies on wed after my workout. At this time these 2 new employees(females) never seem to get my name correct, so much so that they named me earla in one of my orders. It's frustrating. They always give me attitude specially since one day I interrupted one of them while she was talking to her boyfriend and holding hand with him over the counter at the cash register. My smoothie is always fine. The problem is when I order my kids smoothies (probably thinking I won't taste test them) they always make them with way too much pineapple juice that makes the drink very bitter/sour. I have brought this issue to them but they always get hostile if I ask them to remake it. I have always tasted the smoothies before handing them to my kids. Before they were hired the smoothies used to taste very creamy and sweet buy ever since they got hired on, the smoothies are nasty bitter. Only for my kids. I can't do nothing about it, except hope this review reaches the right person. I don't know who I can speak to in person or anything ever will be done with these 2 employees. I always try to order when they are not there. I just really like my smoothie. FYI I always tip them fine. And no I will not expose their names for their own privacy. Read moreI travel often for business and stay at the Sonesta right behind the Rainbow Blvd location. Every time I am in town, I stop in to get a smoothie or a bowl which are very good. I have even paid for a day pas to use the gym a few times but have not become a member because of how often I am out of town. On 18JAN25, I was told I could not come in to get a smoothie and leave as the juice bar was for members only. I explained that I have done this many times, but was told the rules recently changed. I asked to see this in writing and when this change had been made as I was here two weeks ago. Either post this information on the sites that allow you to order for pickup and delivery, on your own website, or stop just making up rules...

I pointed out their customer-facing tablet went down and instead of pausing and getting a manager, the single employee there (others on break?) took about a dozen more orders in front of me, then FORGOT my order until I had to ask about it TWICE!
Employees have very high turnover (presumably because pay and management is awful) so they can’t troubleshoot POS, inconsistent quality on drinks. Several have a hard time speaking English.
