Cider Gallery is such a beautiful venue. I had my wedding here in April 2021 and have nothing but praise for the location and also their events manager Jennifer!!! We first met Jennifer in 2019 before the pandemic hit when we put down our deposit. She let us tour the space and answered our questions. Cider Gallery is very experienced at hosting weddings and they had printed information prepared that is helpful for planning the wedding and to share with vendors.
During the pandemic, Jennifer was very understanding and let us postpone the wedding date with no extra cost or other consequences. From start to finish, Jennifer was very kind and accommodating! It's clear that weddings are her passion as she is very knowledgeable in the topic, offering great advice when needed. The week before our wedding, Cider Gallery spruced up the courtyard in preparation of our outdoor ceremony, adding more sod, new plants in the planters, and extra pea gravel in the paved circle rock area.
Jennifer coordinated with our wedding planner as we approached our new wedding date, ensuring everything went smoothly, and provided info about decorating the space. She provided a detailed floor plan for the reception and even rented a sweethearts table for us. We rented our tables and chairs from Cider Gallery and also used them for our bar services with no trouble. They had detailed guidelines and precautions for COVID safety.
We were allowed into the venue for an hour during rehearsal on the day before. On the day of the wedding, they let us inside early in the morning for setup and gave us access to the space all day. The owner group also own the Bon Bon restaurant directly next door, and they allowed me to rest there with my family an hour before the ceremony.
On the wedding day, my grandmother was needing snacks for energy right before the ceremony, and Jennifer was so kind to provide some food from her personal stash. This small but meaningful thing is so appreciated!
Our guests had a great time at Cider Gallery. The wedding ceremony and reception were beautiful, and my husband and I...
Read moreWe couldn’t have been happier with our choice of venue. After searching around Topeka and not finding a space that truly spoke to us, we decided to venture out to Lawrence—and that’s when we found The Cider Gallery. It was everything we had hoped for and more.
The gallery space was absolutely perfect—its clean, open layout and elegant architecture offered a beautiful contrast to our decorations and made everything feel both timeless and unique. Even before the décor went up, the space had a charm of its own. It served as the perfect blank canvas for our vision to come to life. Once decorated, it truly transformed into something magical. We received so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous and inviting the space felt.
We had originally planned to host Cocktail Hour outside in the courtyard, complete with yard games, but the Kansas heat had other plans. We were also concerned that the heat might derail our bourbon tasting—hosted in a spot we affectionately called The Alamo—but it ended up being a guest favorite! The setup was cozy and inviting, and our guests enjoyed the experience so much that the heat didn’t dampen the mood one bit.
We also received multiple compliments from our vendors on how easy it was to work with The Cider Gallery. Their organization, flexibility, and professionalism made setup and coordination a breeze for everyone involved.
We absolutely LOVE Coco and her team at The Cider Gallery. They were wonderful to work with—responsive, professional, and incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process. They helped make the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and truly memorable.
If you’re looking for a venue that’s versatile, elegant, and full of character, we wholeheartedly recommend The Cider Gallery. It played such a meaningful role in making our event...
Read moreTL;DR: great space for a wedding - noisy coworking space with immature management(see owner's response below)
Updated Response to Owner: Adam, you are the office manager, it is literally your only job to maintain a professional and productive environment for your clients up to and including "noise policing". You accusing me of lacking a spine because I didn't "confront" your tenants is amazingly childish and petulant. I wear noise cancelling headphones because my clients and I value my time and I my work(software engineering) requires deep focus. The fact that you're suggesting confrontation between tenants rather than addressing issues brought to you should send a clear warning to any prospective tenants reading this that you are essentially just there to take their money without managing the space. Thanks for the smarmy response attacking my personality instead of actually addressing the issue like an adult.
Original: I've been renting a space at the farm table in Cider Gallery's coworking space for the past few months and I consider it a waste of money. The tenants currently occupying the offices adjacent to the farm table are incredibly noisy and disrespectful - they literally shout at each other through the walls of their closed door offices. I've started working from a coffee shop downtown and it's been much quieter than Cider Gallery, surprisingly. When I brought up the issue of noisy tenants to the office manager, Adam, he never addressed it. Even with noise-cancelling headphones I found the other tenants to be accosting. Your mileage may vary, but I found Cider Gallery offices difficult...
