Nostalgia Room — Restaurant in Lawrence

Excellent concept - a temperate (non-alcoholic) bar in East Lawrence! Everything on the menu is delicious, reminiscent of actual cocktails, and the best part, it’s all alcohol-free!! While I myself drink, I am friends with plenty of people who don’t, and this “bar” creates the space and ambience that cultivates connection with good friends. It has everything you would want in a temperate bar… friendly staff (Emily is so friendly), plenty of drink options (NA beers, zero-alcohol wine, and an expansive mocktail menu), lots of seating, and an incredible vibe. I tip my hat to Emily Kate and the work she’s doing to create spaces of connection for those with substance abuse pasts or who simply don’t want to drink....

I FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The idea of a teetotaler bar is not only a novel idea, it’s a brilliant one. It’s super chill and the drinks are lovely (highly recommend the Breakfast Date).
