Metro Mattress Outlet of Lawrenceville — Attraction in Lawrenceville

[After having just left a large "commercial chain" & feeling 1) the LC had ZERO knowledge of mattresses, & 2) they were RUDE the moment a BLACK man & his white (actually not) wife came in.] We arrived at Metro Mattress with mixed emotions. We were THRILLED to be greeted with genuine human kindness ❤ by Milton, the store Manager. Right away it was OBVIOUS he KNOWS mattresses (they are NOT ALL THE SAME in price or design). He also took time talking with us about what it was for, who might be sleeping on it, and what our price range was. He encouraged us BOTH to lay down and try them, helping us narrow our decision down to two...and then cut out his commission so the prices were so close...the choice really was just "which felt better". If you NEED a new mattress, you will STILL FIND every brand, style, & type, prices ranging...what I can promise you'll find HERE though, from the moment you walk through the doors is GENUINE HUMAN KINDNESS AND ❤ HEART REGARDLESS OF YOUR RELIGION, CREED, OR COLOR. P.S. We'll be back when our next mattress needs replacing...

Shawn hooked me up with the deal!

Reduced to ONE star. Issue 1. Shawn (salesperson) gave me a free pillow for a 5 star review. I felt I would give him the benefit of the doubt. Not anymore. Here is why that review has been reduced to ONE star: $90. for delivery and setup. Truck finally arrived 1.5 hours outside of 10AM-2PM delivery window. Had to call twice to inquire on where it was.

Issue 2: The frame was setup unbeknownst to me with no casters or plastic gliders--just bare metal on carpet. If this had been a hardwood floor, your company would be paying for the damage. The bed is now immovable, due to bare metal tubing on the carpet. Issue 3: Went by the store literally the day after the install and let the salesperson there know I was displeased and just wanted either the casters or gliders and I would be on my way. Of course they had none and the salesperson apparently had no idea how to fix this problem.

I was checking out previous reviews and saw that Sean was assisting everyone's needs. So I called and behold Sean answered the phone. To my delight, he was very thorough and nice with assisting me with all of my minute knowledge about mattress. So I received a mattress 201ckass🤣. Sean then suggested I come and check out the mattress. I felt like a VIP when I arrived. The mattresses here are for everyone no matter what your budget is and believe me I had a budget as well as the other posters. This is what also led me here. Low and behold, Sean met my family needs. I was actually able to upgrade in my budget. With all that being said, PLEASE DONT SLEEP ON THIS STORE NOR SEAN..!!! YOU WONT REGRET IT!! Thank you Sean for getting my daughter and I off the air mattresses. I will definitely be buying All of my mattresses from here. You are a life saver. Thank you for helping the community.
