I drove almost 15 minutes to get to the restaurant, because my two little ones wanted Popeyes. The rain was pouring down, and I went into the drive through. By the time I reached up to place my order the person that was taking my order asked me if I can come inside because the drive through has been shut down. I took my kids and went inside. It wasn’t looking as busy at first, but then I realized that there were a few people who were waiting for a while for their food including DoorDash deliveries. They had a lot of people working at the time, and you see lots of big orders bagging up, but not much for the people in the lobby that already placed their orders. It was one active register working, and when the cashier took a few orders, she would go and help bagged up orders, with the same dirty hand that she was touching the money with, leaving a line of people in the lobby that still needed to place their order. Everyone waited so patiently, including myself, as if that was the only restaurant that was open for the night. After waiting over 20 minutes, I was able to place my order. Waited approximately 50 minutes total before the cashier came back to me to confirm my order. She told me to step to the side, because she was about to start putting my order together. She started it and got distracted, doing everything else, including ringing up more orders. Until another good 15 minutes I asked her if there was something else she was waiting on to complete my order. Her response was that she started it because she didn’t want me to wait. I said to her, but I’m still waiting, because now people that order after me were able to place their order, and you went and got their orders right after. Then she started to mumble to herself saying she’s not doing this with me. I asked her if that’s all she could say when I basically waited a whole hour in there waiting to both place my order and to get my food. Her response was “WHATEVER “! Right in the other customers hearing. I asked her if that’s how she talked to her customers, and she said “YES “! Very boldly. At that point of course I was very upset with her behavior towards me, so I started to read her name tag and she was like, it’s Latonya! At this point I decided to speak to the manager, so I was asking another employee, if that’s the manager I saw in the back and she told me yes, he’s a manager. However, Latonya decided that she will go and call the manager for me herself. She went to the back and started to speak with him, not sure what she told him. He came up to the front, and I explained the situation to him, and he apologized for her behavior and said that he was going to speak to her about the situation. He tried to fix the issue and asked me if there’s anything he can do to help. I didn’t order any drinks because we were going home, but he gave me and my children a drink each. That was my first time at this location and WILL NOT go back, or even recommend anyone to go there. Not if Latonya is still working there! It was My first time there and the experience was very bad. Latonya, has no communication skills and she doesn’t know how to work under pressure. She should not be upfront dealing with customers. I don’t usually write reviews, because I just don’t think that it makes a difference, and they still keep the same workers there either way. However, today I feel the urge to write one, because she treats me as if my money was not valuable enough In front of other customers and also my children. I do hope that my review will be looked into, and that she won’t have the ability to speak to anyone else like that. I’m pretty sure that i wasn’t the first customer that she treated like that and I will not be the last. Her behavior seems so natural as if she behaves like that all the time and gets away with it....
Read moreI went to Popeye's weeks ago and the pictures below is the nasty mess that I saw in there. I wasn't going to put up this review, but after going there again today, I'm very frustrated with the way this store operates. When I went on my previous visit, there were a line of cars all the way to the beginning of the entrance. The inside of the store was absolutely disgusting, and there was only one cashier and it took me over 20 minutes to get my food and get out. In fact, they were supposedly dropping chicken repeatedly, yet I got the last 10 piece, and many of them were not in the right pieces, but I was not going to go back and complain. I didn't expect anything free for the long wait, but there was not even an apology for the long wait. When I went back there today, the line was even worse because it was after 6 p.m. on a Friday. The line if cars not only went out towards the road, but it wrapped around the entire building, making it difficult for those in the Drive-Thru to actually leave. Once again, they only had one cashier who's talking voice is lower than Janet Jackson's!, and they didn't think to have a second cashier during dinner time. I was in there over 20 minutes this time as well. Any good fast food place would see the long lines and get additional people to work the register, but the people here are too laid-back and it's very annoying, especially when you are trying to get food quickly to feed your family or hungry kids. If this wasn't the only Popeyes close by, I wouldn't even bother, but this will change once the new Popeyes opens in Loganville, and maybe once they get that competition and start losing business, then they'll learn to value their customers and give better customer service, not just better...
Read moreAVOID THIS LOCATION...I placed a drive thru order at 5:13P EST, then waited in the drive thru line 30 minutes. When I got to the drive thru window at 5:45PM, I gave my order#09. The person working the drive thru verified my order and stated if I drove up to the doors she would bring out my order. I pulled up and verified at the drive thru window that I was sitting at the correct door. After 15 minutes of waiting (6:00P), I inquired about my order and the manager came to the window and stated I was at the wrong door, my order was not ready and she could make my order really quick. When I refused to wait any longer, she confirmed she was the person who originally comfirmed my order at the drive thru. She then said it was her first time viewing the order and it was never ready. So which one is it?? It's ready or it's not? I then requested a refund and she refused to provide one stating I had to return to the app. I informed her I would submit feedback on customer service, she told me to have a good day and slammed the window shut so hard it bounced back open. UNACCEPTABLE! Even the workers appeared shocked at her behavior. I didn't get her name because her name badge was dirty. This location's dining room is closed, even for pick up, which creates long drive thru lines forming around the building and on Grayson highway. I will NEVER support this location again. Popeye's you should invest in training your Trailer Park Trash managers in customer service. Update: Contact the app customer service and was refunded immediately, given an apology and a coupon for free food. I also went the location in Buford. The line was long but the service was really good and I only waited...
